Fair point. Maybe I should have used a "cf." cite in my original post, but I had been misinformed that jokes requiring knowledge of the Blue Book are not funny and make the corp group feel inferior, and I'm not about that.

Dear paigow,
Not too much happening on the FB right now, so I thought I'd update you on some of the other boards.

Is there a good site that I can look for this kind of stuff?

I think this is cool. Maybe we should change the name of the thread to the highlights page. Anything on the other pages worth posting can be posted here.

You want the SF/SV board to become the Reader's Digest thread?

Better title, but this approach might require more stick-figure explanatory art from MR than he'd be willing to do (or we'd be willing to view).

Other than posting on the FB to retain my current cleverly contrived thread title naming crown, I may make this board my new home. I will confer with Paigow and Shifter and let y'all know.

Harry Potter Board Update

Not just after he drank the poison. Starting with his destroyed hand, he just seemed to be not as great and all-mighty as JKR had made him out to be in the first five books. I know that she tried to cover it by discussing his advanced age, etc., but it just seemed to occur extraordinarily quickly. He was a goner from the very start. This was the only wizard that Voldemort was ever afriad of - who battled him in OotP, who took on the ministry and the Aurors, etc., etc. and he just seemed old and tired. Perhaps as was stated in the link (all the theories and spoilers) he was aware of what ultimately was going to happen to him and didn't have his heart in the fight any longer.

thanks that was interesting and informative.
So, there are these men outside my window. They are making a lot of noise. They are not eating Apples bc there are no Apple Trees here. They are hammering and sawing and pounding and Chicken Sausage is getting curious. He wants to see what is going on but he is afraid of the Foreman who is eyeing him suspiciously. Also the smell of burnt iron is not Enjoyable.
Why are youa Savant?
