Oh yes he does. He looks like Billy Baldwin.
Fortunately, with age, he's wisely decided to drop 15 minute political speeches from his repetoire. "For the Rev Martin Luther King... SING!" Somewhere, I gotta believe an true orator like King was turning to St. Peter and saying "Can you please fuck up that guy's career? Maybe give him some inspiration to try an industrial record or something?"
Nobody's done politics in music right since the Clash and Pistols. "When they kick out your front door, how you gonna come, with hands on your head, or on the trigger of your gun?" That's proper pop politics, not posing about the stage like some overwraught 15 year old in an art rock garage band crooning about a civil rights movement half a world away.
Now that I've exhausted that soapbox...

Gnocchi? Even when I live within walking distance of a store that makes and sells fresh pasta?
I can't remember the itinerary but it sounded like they were hitting all the major must-sees, particularly in the north.
Leather's a good idea, I need a new wallet.

Kidding about the gnocchi.
The leather smells like it still has the cow attached to it. In a good way.

Its not We Built This CIty but given the artist and the shittiness, its gotta be top five. Please make it go away. I don't even have my Ipod to help;

In no order:
American Pie
That song by ELP that starts out "Welcome my friends to the show that never ends..."
Roundabout
"Bottle of Red, Bottle of White..."
Thunder Road
Fire on the Mountain
"I Will Remember You..."
Song from Dawson's Creek
(In fact, everything by that Sarah McLaughlin chick)
Loose Lucy
Ramblin Man
The Eagles' entire catalogue
Bohemian Rhapsody (campiness expired a decade ago, yet still played)

An old boyfriend brought me back a pair of sandal-y shoes from Italy. They didn't smell until my cat showed his resentment about a new boyfriend by pissing on the shoes.

It's unfair to include Thunder Road on that list.

Chuck D. is brilliant. This was confirmed via his dialogue with Bill McNeal on Newsradio.

A few thoughts:
Thunder Road? You are a fucking moron. I know you hate Bruce, but Jesus. There are other songs more stereotypically Bruce. If you had said Born to Run, I wouldn't be pissed at you. But Thunder Road? That song really is poetic in how it sets a time and place.
Overplayed doesn't equal bad.
You needed to date girls who weren't in sororities to appreciate chick singer-songwriters. Your loss.
