No. You're only a bad person if you become sick of JonBenet coverage. Think of the children!

we've forgotten how to post politely when there are 100s of posts. Most people cannot remember what GWNC was referring too, and thus we cannot understand Sebby's post. A more polite construction would include the post to which she was responding so that the reader need not try to remember.

That's ok. I'm going to ask my boyfriend whether or not "First Nations" is more pretentious than "Native American." As an Irish Catholic from Connecticut, he is well-positioned to answer this sort of question.

I'd have thought that any Canadian might have an opinion on that one, but if you need to ask an American help, that's OK too.

Is it more wrong if one of the guys is married? Not to the other guy or to the woman involved.

Please. scroll more. I didn't post ANYTHING THAT WASN'T POSTED ALREADY. thank you. I'll take shit for nasty stuff I do but not assume blame for stuff I don't. thanks.

"Native American" is generally not used in Canada. "First Nations" and "Aboriginal" are used. However, the native people I grew up with didn't really use those terms. You were "status" or "non-status." "Status" means you don't have to pay tax. I'm not sure of the relative pretentiousness of the terms.
