Rudy/Newt is the dream ticket, with Mitt/Newt a second choice.

I just pray we can keep it together and not let the South screw it up.

McCain is an old crank - but would be perfect for SecDef in any (GOP/Dem) Administration.

Probably not. But I'm remaining hopeful. He would be a great 3rd party candidate.

Oh. I get it you agree with what this blogger is saying. Well, I think the opposite is true. I think both Giuliani and McCain are not only great candidates, but formidable candidates. I like them both and think they would both beat Hillary in a walk.

Giuliani and McCain would be both stronger in the general election than in the Republican primaries. I have a hard time imagining Giuliani getting out the primaries at all. And McCain's popularity with independents and Democrats is disappearing as he panders and panders to the right wing.

For that matter, I don't think much of Hillary, either.

I used to think like you did that Giuliani could not make it out of the primary. But a lot of the social conservatives in California are lining up behind Giuliani. It is rather strange and I have not figured out why.

I think Hillary is really formidable. I think she will crush anyone other than Giuliani or McCain. If any of these other bozos get the nomination it will be a walk for her.
