Best Bars

The best bars are ones that provide enough solitude for when you need it, but also can conjure up a festive atmosphere when the occasions demands. These bars should stock the most popular super-premium liquors -- and even a few that aren't so popular because, hey, you never know who's going to order Cinzano. The bartender should be knowledgeable, entertaining, a first-class mixologist and someone who knows how to make out-of-towners feel welcome.

I've only been to 2 of these. Youse guys been to the other ones? Are they right? Wrong?

I've been to the Top of the Mark in San Francisco and it's mediocre at best. Good booze selection, but the atmosphere can be miserable with overloud cheesy music and cheesier dancers. The drinks they mix are so-so (lots of specialty drinks but most of them cloyingly sweet), the staff hardly anything that would bring you back.

The view, on the other hand, is magnificent.

Debuting July 28 with two consecutive hourlong episodes, ”Amish in the City” will follow five Amish youth sharing an ultra-modern house in the Hollywood Hills with six young urbanites, UPN said on Thursday.
It explores the Amish rite of passage known as “rumspringa,” in which young people leave their communities, and the supervision of parents, to experience the outside world before deciding whether to remain with the sect as adults and become baptized.

Isn't rumspringa supposed to be like Spring Break Cancun, only for a year?
There was a documentary on it on Showtime about a year ago, called Devil's Playground. The Amish kids party pretty hard, but apparently most of them go back to the Amish way after the year. I think you can get the documentary on Netflix now.

A thin cotton dress plastered to the nubile body of a young, firm, untouched Amish girl, her full breasts topped by hardened nipples clearly visible through the soaking wet fabric, which also outlines her high, tight ass when she bends over? What's not to like?

I'm sure Sidd's nutters will produce the requisite fluff.

Or, she will be entranced by these mass-produced foods, marshmallow fluff and yummy Peter Pan peanut butter, and she will have eaten a big spoonful of the peanut butter followed by a big spoonful of the marshmallow fluff, some of which smears around her lips.

Since 'weed brought up Lancaster, PA, recall that the cops there busted a meth and coke ring run by a bunch of Amish guys a couple of years ago.

Fringey, Hollywood is not always true to life, and the chick in Witness is not representative of Amish woman-hood.

Amish girls are more like Russian beet-farmers with German accents.

In my opinion that IS Kelly McGillis without the German accent.
I never saw what people thought was so hot about her anyway.

What the Amish woman look like isn't really important. during Rumspringa they screw like mad but they're too fucked up to see what they look like really. After Rumspringa they only do it in the dark under covers so it doesn't really matter what they look like then either.

Was she Mrs. Tom Cruise #1? I always get Mrs. TC #1 mixed up with some other actress.

She was in Top Gun but I don't think she was stupid enough to marry him.
