Bush actually ussed thhat song - with Townsend's permission - during his 2000 race.
The older I get, the more I tend to agree with the song's point. There really is nothing you can do in this world but get yer ya yas out and find friends and family to love.
You grow up wanting to be rich, famous and respected.
So soon after you start working you realize you really just want to be left alone. And be interested.

Cite please, because if that is true, he (or his handlers) is/are far smarter, and more cynical, than I ever thought.

At Huffington I was able to post a few comment before being outed. What got me was a live chat with Joe Kennedy just after Katrina. He was explaining how Bush had ruined the enviroment by not signing Kyoto.
I posted that I was glad to finally see a Kennedy against people being thrown into the water, and that I hoped the family continued moving forward. Got bounced and it never did get posted.
Do you know if Ty works there?

typical of the biased approach of the looney left, which ensures that you and your socialist ivy tower elitist snob types will remain out of power for decades to come.
What does irrelevancy feel like?

I'm curious. What position of mine have you found to be particularly left-wing?

I have never met a less democratic, less liberal group of people than the Democrats and their card-carrying Liberal associates.

Your hostility to me. I fancy you a covert leftist of sorts. Loosely masquerading as an above-ideology-ivy-tower scholar.

Ok. But if Sebby's grandpappy said then what Sebby said now, he'd have been wrong.
