Or, for that matter, any place with semi-monthly pay periods.

I'd rather not discuss this. She told me about the Reverse Blumpie you provided her, and it was all I could do not to choke on my creamed corn.

Are there any compelling reasons under ERISA or it's inacting regulations that might point Less to a particularly advantageous leaving date?
Less. are you announcing or leaving- or do you assume the difference will be about an hour- you're going to another firm, they might want you to stay a week.

PLF, I often add a lot of genius-level commentary on this board. Everyone knows this. Your venom toward me would be better channeled into make-up sex.

Besides, remaking any Peter Sellers movie is recockulous. What's next, Owen Wilson as Chauncey Gardiner?

Speaking of Owen Wilson, does anyone here visit channel101.com on a regular basis? Rolling Stone made it sound like a must-visit.

C'mon, dude. You can't tell me you've never had that fantasy. I think I've had more "leaving a steaming pile of shit on partners' desk/ex-lover's car/etc." fantasies than I have had actual bowel movements.

It's his notice date, not departure date, right?
Other things equal, quitting at the beginning of a month allows you to take 8 weeks off without any gap on your resume (i.e., employer A until Feb 2006, employer B Mar. 2006-present). But isn't Less retiring?
And it may get some extra health coverage paid for by the company (the last place I left paid the firm's portion of the premium each pay period, so by working one day in the pay period I got an extra 14 days of coverage at their (mostly) expense.

When Will It Stop?
As long as they don't phase out the Sensor Excel, I'm fine. But the second that happens, I'm taking up arms, or at least, my Sensor Excel, and I'm gonna cut somebody.
