I don't know about make-up sex, but you might be able to convince me to let you engage in unsolicited fellatio on me.

I bet at Coltrane's firm you can just order one to be delivered to the desks, like a beverage.

I've started all of my jobs towards the end of a month.

And I have no gaps in my resume.

It's his notice date, not departure date, right?

Other things equal, quitting at the beginning of a month allows you to take 8 weeks off without any gap on your resume (i.e., employer A until Feb 2006, employer B Mar. 2006-present). But isn't Less retiring?

And it may get some extra health coverage paid for by the company (the last place I left paid the firm's portion of the premium each pay period, so by working one day in the pay period I got an extra 14 days of coverage at their (mostly) expense.
I didn't really want an answer. i was just trying to highlight that Fringey's practice area is boring, or more boring than most.

Five posts will follow from people saying their pay periods end on Tuesdays. Two more will make differentiations between "pay period" and the day they actually receive checks, which, in both cases, will be Tuesdays.

If by "don't phase out" you don't include "keep raising the price of to recockulous levels" then you're probably alright.

Besides, doesn't the patent on that sucker expire soon? It was introduced in what, 1990 or so?

Yeah, but it's usually a non-magical steaming pile. Sigh.

So, I was filling out a work-related questionnaire and it asked what sorts of tasks I enjoyed least.

I wanted to answer, "Boring and repetitive legal work" but thought that was a little too honest. My second-favorite answer (document drafting, document review, document negotiation) was not a real winner either.

I ended up saying "Research". I know. I'm a wimp.

Older teens?
It started off as a lark -- a very obscure comic book. Nobody had ever done a comic book like that before, and it had a very small print run. So the early editions became collectibles and they resold for fantastic sums for a brief period of time. I believe their mutuations manifested themselves in their preternatural fighting skills -- or perhaps the goofy stripe around their head at eye level, because otherwise they looked like normal talking turtles. Despite their names, I don't recall them as being particularly artistic.

As to how it got put on Saturday morning TV and merchandised -- no idea, but I'm sure it was at least as good as most of the other crap on at the same time. I liked "Battle of the Planets" (aka G-Force) and the cartoon with Spiderman, Ice Man, and the Fire chick with the nice cartoon tits. I'm pretty sure network TV cartoons suck now.

Blowjobs don't count.

ETA: Yeah, of course they count, but that wasn't what I meant.

ETFA: Aw, forget it.

It is because everyone loves the benevolent Princess Shayla, who lives in the town with the Power Rangers and is kind to all.

Princess Shayla is my friend. Okay, okay, the actress who played Princess Shayla is my friend. Details. She is also quite a fan of the Texas Hold'em. And she won a bad beat jackpot, as previously discussed here.

This is my str8-esque submission for the day.
I appreciate it. I once went to brunch with Pink Power Ranger, who is a smoking hot Aussie chick. That brunch was me, a law firm buddy of mine, and five very attractive actress types that he knows. Good brunch.

I briefly worked at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Magazine.

I am not making this up.
