It's in the database.

WHEW!!

I know everyone has been on tenterhooks wondering about my ailing abs.

Well, you'll all be relieved to learn that I think they're getting better. I went to yoga last night, and was somewhat concerned that upward-facing dog would do me in; however, I actually felt quite a bit better after the class. In fact, I even ran for about 20 minutes (hey, what can I say -- I never claimed to be Coltrane) following the class.

TM -- I was going to chime in that the mystery guest was Tiger Woods, but I thought you were joking that you didn't know.

In other news, I think the reason we haven't heard from NotIt lately could be that he's been in hiding. Apparently, someone (?) has been threatening Taye Diggs's wife and her place of employment (she's an actress on Broadway I think) because they are an interracial couple. I heard it on 1010 WINS yesterday -- you know, the most listened-to radio station in the nation? -- but I don't have a link. It's got to be generally available out there in the ether if you don't believe me.

Scary. "Not Bob: would like to think of himself as a granola-crunching lesbian trapped in the body of a member of the Patriarchy, but is actually an Amy Grant-listening, SUV-driving, NIMBY suburbanite."

And I am a white-bread urbanite.

One of my co-workers has fairly diverse musical taste, and has really been getting into hip hop recently. But, often when I pass by her office, I hear her listening to music that I assume I would hear if I was so fucking drunk and confused that I accidently stumbled into a coffee shop in, like, Ann Arbor. Whenever this happens, I yell at her to turn off the Wicca music.

I am a fascist.

It was on boston.com yesterday afternoon. Irina something-or-other. She won the Tony for starring as Elabeth (sp?) in Wicked. 5 bodyguards escorted her to the theater yesterday afternoon after she received 3 letters threatening her with bodily harm. Taye is in Toronto filming Kevin Hill.

Obsession with all things Taye Diggs doesn't count as an obsession, because it's rational behavior, which "obsession", by definition, isn't.

Nope. I didn't make the connection since Tiger Woods doesn't really give a shit about golf anymore. And I have the signature line feature turned off, so I thought Atticus might have been describing Nat King Cole and later decided to delete it.

The Brits surveyed for cheesiest movie lines, and they got it wrong. While number one is bad, it's not nearly as bad as number two, the cheesiest movie line of all time:

1. "Titanic": Leonardo DiCaprio's "I'm the king of the world!"

2. "Dirty Dancing": Patrick Swayze's "Nobody puts Baby in the corner."

3. "Four Weddings And A Funeral": Andie McDowell's "Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed."

3. "Ghost": Demi Moore's "Ditto," to Patrick Swayze's "I love you."

5. "Top Gun": Val Kilmer to Tom Cruise: "You can be my wingman anytime"

6. "Notting Hill": Julia Roberts' "I'm just a girl ... standing in front of a boy ... asking him to love her."

7. "Independence Day": Bill Pullman's "Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"

8. "Braveheart": Mel Gibson's "They may take our lives, but they will not take our freedom!"

9. "Jerry Maguire": Renee Zellweger to Tom Cruise: "You had me at hello."

10. "The Postman": A blind woman says to Kevin Costner: "You're a godsend, a savior." He replies: "No, I'm a postman."

Any others they missed?

Good song, but I like it best played with bagpipes.
