The OddMan then launched into his tale of having us invited by one of his coworkers to have sex with them.

The other couple was a little surprised that we had been approached by different couples we know socially.

Their surprise made me wonder: isn't swinging a fairly banal, suburban activity?

Even(for the record, the OM and I have always politely declined)Odds
Now this is a post where "we" would have been perfectly approprate bc it was a couples thing. However, I still enjoyued reading the Oddman and I. It allows the newbie socks to understand who is the he in we.

Does this mean I should picture Lipton when I read BRC's posts?

Just trying to keep up.

Apropos of nothing...did you change your geographic location? Is there really anything east of Stockton?
I was told that there was nothing between Stockton and Colorado. Of course, not having made the drive, this is all based on hearsay.

Edited to change spelling for the godless sleeping kitty.

Or the paralegal in question.

Nice entrance.
Thanks leagleze. I appreciate peoples' advice, as I can't really discuss with anyone here without outing the parties.

For a minute there, I got confused about which paralegal to whom you were referring.

Why not? Don't you dig your coworkers in IT?

Do you mean heresy or hearsay?

Strange stuff, highly entertaining.
You haven't answered my question. (Or maybe you have -- but poorly.) When you say it's banal, are you trying to tell me that it's commonplace because there are a few clubs in Austin or that it is a widespread, common occurrence amongst people you know?

If you are smart about it and know what you are doing, you don't get fired. But nothing you have said here indicates that you are smart or know what you are doing so in all likelihood, you probably would get fired.

Both.

It certainly didn't seem like something that would shock a couple in their 30s.

It's certainly banal when you consider the generally available pool of couples. My childhood pals and I nearly fainted at the thought of "Ice Storm" scenarios among the local paunching Little League dads and gracefully fading PTA moms.
