So chocolate has to do with getting knocked up? Well, that takes every possible romantic notion out of the issue, but its sounds possible, I guess...

Women have a need to get fat? Did you really write that? In Darwinian terms, that's entirely counterproductive, since you'd decrease the chances of mating. Your theory explains pregnant women eating chocolate, but pregnant women will eat drywall if they can get it in their mouths.

I have never seen guys go nuts for a box of any sort of sweets. In college I'd see women eat entire pints of Ben and Jerry's. I have never seen a man do that.

Paigow! Paigow on the mountain!

Almost famous still you don't get the praise
It takes just a wink for you to turn out a phrase
You say you're a giver, I bow at your feet
But you're here alone, there's no one to compete.
If flaming's a bus'ness, I HEART it from you
More than just ashes when your flames ring true.

Paigow! Paigow on the mountain!

Long time lurker, what am I holdin' out for?
Caught in slow motion in a dash for the post.
The flame from your keyboard has now spread o'er the board.
You give all you have. Why you wanna give more?
The more that you give, the more fb will take
To the thin socks beyond which you ably can break

Ah, we have a winner. This one makes sense.

FWIW, the big chocolate freak in my family is my brother. I don't think his being gay has anything to do with it.

He loved Miles of Chocolate.

Finally, an actual explanation.

But this fucking sucks. You have more taste buds and more sexual nerve endings? I would say you get all the fun, but I would never switch places with you. Having to have a period and the whole childbirth thing cancels out the additional pleasures, I guess. Plus you have to squat to pee.

I call bullshit. If chocolate remotely has anything to do with nurturing fetuses I will instantly lose all interest and, in fact, may well run screaming in the opposite direction.

Thanks, you joy-killing bastard. It's back to alcohol for me.

I heard essentially the same thing from some friends of mine who visited a swingers' club in Austin. There were a few attractive women, they said, but they were being swarmed by a bunch of guys. And the propositions were constant.

I'm amazed that there are swingers' clubs with hot people in them. Have you seen the "amateur swingers" porn on the internet? I'd rather just go to a regular bar and work my charms a little rather than have easy pickings of nasties.

Wow. (alternate re line: From chocolate to close to vanilla)

Do you think that the Santa Barbara police and DA knew at the time they arrested Michael Jackson that LAPD and child welfare investigators had already concluded that the same allegations were "unfounded"? Click here ->The Smoking Gun, of course (The Smoking Gun is work safe, right?) for details.

Hmmmm . . .

Let's see:

Women:
Childbirth
Squat to pee
Pay inequities
Uncomfortable shoes
Chocolate tastes slightly better

Men:
World domination
Pay inequities on our side
Internet porn
Beer Nuts

Tough choice.

Before the development of agriculture and animal husbandry, natural selection favored those women who could store fat. However, just because they could store fat doesn't mean that they had enough food around to actually get fat. They likely did not. But they still had the urge to pack on the pounds whenever there was food around. It is just that there wasn't usually all that much food around.
