But I think the salad is worth it because I drape a $9 piece of sizzling Canadian bacon on it.

Because of the found SF family story (sorry, Jack), now any missing people in the northwest are national news? How many people go missing on Everest or other mountains per year? Why are Oregon/the federal government expending the resources that they are to find guys who voluntarily went out hiking on a mountain during the winter? Over 60 hikers on the mountain now in bad weather to try to find the remaining two?

Assumption of risk holds no water in the real world today, I guess.
I am oddly compelled by the missing hikers story.

It's either that or TO's loogey.

Not even close to the Kermit Washington/Rudy T punch. There, Kermit was fighting with Rudy's teammate. Rudy comes running in to break it up, and Kermit (a much bigger dude than Melo) turns and fires full force into Rudy T's face.

Melo, in contrast, throws a jab at someone several feet away, and is already running away by the time the punch lands. His main punishment should be mocking by other players for years to come. What you gonna do, Melo, punch me and run away?

Reality TV

Anyone else watch the Survivor finale last night? This season was sort of predictable (other than the one flip that changed the entire balance of power) and there was less backstabbing than usual, but it was still rather entertaining. Am I the only sucker still watching?

Also, TM, did you see that the next Amazing Race is an all stars edition? Starting in February... Teams have not been announced.
