I take it this is the wrong time to ask how busy everyone is.

Apparently hot sauce is cheap and abundant. At least, that's the only reason I can think of for the Border Patrol to use it as ammunition against Mexican border incursions. Um, I suggest this would be a more effective weapon against the Canadians. The Border Patrol may not realize that Mexicans eat this stuff for breakfast. It would be like shooting transfats at Wisconsin.
Then again, if we'd had this technology in 1836, the Alamo would have turned out --- ¡muy sabroso!

You're forgetting that we really dig the hot sauce when it's mixed into a nice glass of clamato, vodka and celery garnish. mmmm, bloody caesar.

But what I really want to do is direct.
The world's most expensive blow job.
"Gallo wrote, produced, directed, edited, starred in, and was the director of photography for his labor of love, and for all that work, he has been called a narcissist.
One scene near the movie's end, in which Oscar-nominated actress Chloe Sevigny performs oral sex on Gallo, has left the film open to the label "pornography," but Gallo had his point."
Chloe is nice and all, but I would have gotten more funding and a more attractive A-list leading lady. Or maybe less funding and Jenna Jamison.

Plane crash
Not to squelch the Jenna talk, but when is it too soon to speculate about "terrorist action?" The 2 planes crashing in Russia sound suspect (or 1 plane down, 1 plane missing depending on the reports you read).
Because I remember when there was the blackout in the NY/Boston area a couple of years ago and the first words out of anyone's mouth was "IT'S NOT A TERRORIST ACTION - IT WAS SOMEBODY'S FUCKUP AT CON-ED."
So is this what it has come to? Everytime anything happens, we jump to the conclusion that it's a terrorist?
How's the security in Russia? Is it like London, Heathrow where you have to walk past the guys with rifles, or is it like landing in Cancun?

Both planes departed from same airport and crashed/disappeared within minutes of each other. It's either terrorists or one of the ground crew guys had too much vodka for lunch.

This is cold comfort, but my wife flew Aeroflot once --- once ---during the Soviet era. I surmise from her account that two Aeroflot planes going down on the same day would not be a remote coincidence. Not even remotely.

I tend to agree. Plus both planes were Russian built. It's not like the Russians are known for their superior craftsmanship.
Also, last time I checked, there weren't any terrorists who really had it in for the Russians...
eta: Except for the Chechens, apparently, who do want to blow shit up in Russian...

The Chechens have a bone or two to pick, or so I've heard. (Or maybe you are being sarcastic and my sarcastic-radar is way off).

You could be right.
Bonifield reported that “the war in Chechnya has raised, off and on since 1994, a real problem for Russia.”
A series of deadly explosions in recent years has claimed hundreds of lives in blasts that have been blamed mostly on Chechen separatist rebels.
“We've seen repeated attacks — including here in Moscow — that have been caused by Chechen rebels," Bonifield said, adding that Russian transportation officials “are fairly rigorous about protecting their aviation industry.”
The crash comes only days before Sunday’s presidential election in the breakaway republic of Chechnya. Pro-Russian President Akhmad Kadyrov was killed by a bombing in May.

This has not gone unnoticed. My wife remarked that his foot speed isn't the only thing that sets 400m-winning-white boy apart from most other white guys.
