Do you take all photographs of military cemetaries or grieving loved ones as a political, anti-war message?

Could they not equally be and should you not view them instead as a reminder of the great cost too many of our brothers and sisters have had to pay in service to our country? What do you think Memorial Day is all about?

Bi-partisanly speaking, and of course not referring to you, I've noticed that too many on the right over the past few years have seemed to hide from acknowledging the cost of this war and WAR in general, in anything other than a fuzzy, soft, cliche-ridden terms. The administration bars photography of coffins arriving at Dover, et al. from overseas for just this reason.

Regardless of your position on the War . . . Look at the graves, look at the tears. Don't shrink from them or avert your eyes. Acknowledge the cost of the policies you support and respect those who pay that price -- none of whom post here. Stand up to it, and, if you are so inclined, justify it.

Don't you dare criticize people for highlighting the tragic cost of war.
