Jesus. Help me. When are people going to learn that no one, NO ONE wants to see your fatt naked ass on the cover of a magazine. I can only imagine being in a grocery store and having to look at that in the line.

NBA Draft
How awkward is it to be sitting there doing an interview while you're wearing the hat of your new team when someone tells you "here, wear this hat now." "Well you know, I'm really happy to be going to Minnesota and ...what? I'm going to Portland? WTH?"

Is there some rule that prevents completing the trade before the draft? In the NFL, teams almost always have officially traded for the pick before it is made. It seems almost exactly the opposite in the NBA, other than for picks from previous seasons.

Black Tie Invited
More or less likely to have people wearing black tie than Black Tie Optional? Sounds more to me, but I've never seen it on an invite before so I am confused.
ETA: it looks like maybe that is just an updated term for Black Tie Optional. So follow up question - how many of the guys here would wear a tux (instead of a dark suit) to a Black Tie Invited wedding?

It depends. I had this question arise recently. Early aft. wedding; evening reception. I opted for a suit, since it would be very burdensome to change, and going to a church at noon in a tux seemed silly.
If, however, the whole thing were in the evening, I would be more inclined to wear a tux. Of course, I would want to know the guest list enough to get a sense if I were going to be the only person in a tux.
In short, if you are having a wedding, either make it black tie, or don't, but don't do the "optional" thing.

What percentage wore tuxes, would you guess? This is an afternoon wedding (3 p.m.), evening reception. Could change between wedding and reception, but that seems a bit silly.
Follow up: dark suit means only navy or black?

Most of the men I know own their own tuxes. And when polled, agreed they'd wear them in this situation.
(What this means is that I yelled the question at my brother and dad, while IMing my other brother... all 3 said they'd wear their tuxes.)

I actually think she looks good on the cover of that magazine, especially for six or seven months pregnant.
But what bothers me is that I've seen enough photos of her in the recent past to know that shot bears no resemblance to her in real life.

I guessed right: I think only the wedding party were wearing tuxes.
What's the tux-wearing ethic in LA? This was DC, where probably people are a bit more likely to wear tuxes. But this was also DC in the summer, where people are more inclined to wear tube tops and spaghetti strap camisoles.

It appears that someone other than Britney did her make-up that day.

Angelenos are known for their burkha-like clothing choices.
Edited to change stupid mistake.
