I thought the point was disdain not for the act of locking him in the basement, but instead for threatening the structural integrity of the door.

Don't remember a taxidermied dog in Evil Dead II, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one. Are you perhaps thinking of the hilariously mangy and mean dead cat from Reanimator?

Personally, I don't think large dogs should be allowed in apartments at all. Bigs dogs need a yard. It's cruel otherwise.
Little dogs are OK.

Our neighbor had a black lab, who was the nicest dog in the world, but when she bit the baby, she was out of that house quicker than you can say "MR's a retard." Anyone can snap.

Another quote from the mom that y'all will enjoy.

"Just for the record, I yelled at Gavin Newsom,'' she said. "I told him off. How dare him say anything about my family?"

Now you're ready to rent Evil Dead II, one of the funniest horror-movie campfests ever to spray jellied brains on a rustic cabin wall. Absofuckinglutely brilliant. Or at least I thought so when I was 15. Not that I think I would feel any differently today, mind you.
Yes - I am going to rent that next.

Apparently it is not cruel, provided that they are walked sufficiently. I know a number of people with big dogs in apartments. The dogs seem very well-adjusted.

It actually really depends on the breed of dog and how much exercise they need. Some large breeds are notoriously lazy.

I had no trouble gettting to sleep after watching Mr. & Mrs. Smith, though I can't say that my sleep was particularly restful or fulfilling.

Totally depends on the dog's activity level. Great Danes can do OK in apartments because they are pretty sedate. Border collies are much smaller, but keeping one in an apartment would be insane.

Did the lobster have claws to latch onto your privates so that you could have a hands free experience?

And in other Mr. Crabby news, he was successfully exchanged for a Finger Tingler and a credit that will go towards a Jesse James DVD when she joins the team of creative folk at Vivid. Finger Tingler is very good btw, esp when standing.

Scream with only the (neutered) Displaced Dog, in the middle of a moonless night, in the middle of the country, in a house with lots of windows. I went to bed with all the lights on and a knife under my pillow.

For my own sanity, I have refused to watch the Blair Witch Project. I would like to continue enjoying going to the remote country side.

And the yard is irrelevant to that issue. It's not a like a dog will exercise herself in the yard. Although my lab has hilarious episodes of random aimless dashes from corner to corner, they are not regular enough to constitute sufficient daily exercise.

The real benefit to having a yard is to the owners, not the dogs. You don't have to be dressed to give the dog the first and last out, and you can go out barefoot to play fetch and know where all the bombs are.

YOu know, I dont quite understand why you credit RB with such great flamework. She was never impressive, having to rely on shock value such as uttering unutterable words like "twat". Frankly. thats the vulgar version of retard. You should know better.

Oh, and I think you shoudl make Mr. Crabby your new avatar.

Query for the Gang

I watched part of I Heart Huckabees this weekend. I say that I watched part of it because I ended up turning ot off, because I found it mind-numbingly stupid. I kept waiting for the punch-line, but it never came.

Would those of you who saw this movie and saw a point in sitting through it explain to me why? I'm sure it's just my own stupidity that caused me to rank this right up there with Nashville as one of those films the critics all thought was terribly clever, but made me feel like I was in a dentist's chair.

My sister's 105 pound lab currently lives 23 floors up in a 1200 square foot apartment. He doesn't seem to have suffered from ill effects. I attribute all of his idiosyncrasies to spending his impressionable puppyhood in a house with five college guys in Vermont.

I saw it this weekend, too. God help the rest of us if those two reproduce -- we'll be obsolete.

Angelina is (not shockingly) stunning in this movie. Granted, one doesn't see her tattoos, the vial of Billy Bob's blood, or any brother-kissing.
