It may well be that he was the only guy making these that didn't figure out how to make them septic safe. Or didn't have deep enough pockets to maintain the illusion that that are.

Again and again, and when I ask you to explain, you say . . .

No wink. Perhaps the smile could have been interpreted as leering, but we all know how unlikely that is. You are right, Ty is clearly the Fresh Prince to my Carlton.

A) how did you know it was Amy Tan? [you took time to google it or memorized it?]

B) don't be dissin' on Kanye. I like him a lot. but I also like fergie's big girls don't cry, Nickelback's Rockstar and Timbaland The way I are. And Fitty said that Kanye sounds like a robot.

C) I really like Nelly Furtardo not sure why but Say it Right is catchy and Fly like a Bird is as well

My ex smelled like bleach down there. But not the lemon scented bleach.

I'm sure he regrets not using the lemon now.

Speaking of geekouts, are any of you indie-popsters into Spoon? I am going to see them tonight. I think they are fine, but cannot get too worked up about them. Someone convince me how great they are.
I've walked away from at least three of their sets over at various music festivals over the last five years. I've tried to get into them, but I just can't.

They're playing here with the New Pornographers in a few weeks, so I'm afraid I may actually be a captive audience the next time I'm exposed to them.

Has anyone downloaded the new Radiohead? What did you pay? Is it good?

It is less so now.

Both.

Gatti, if you notice I never never comment about music, mostly because my knowledge is facile and superfluous and superficial....

But now that I've embraced my inner superficiality I feel free.

Thanks for sharing.

Fergie. Nickelback. You are Part of the Problem. But we knew that already. And if we did not know that, we suspected it.

I do not really dis on Kanye in general -- the stuttering song aside. The dude has some integrity and is at least not a total caricature of hip hop like so much of what is in the Top 40. But here's the thing. He gets played up as having this underground vibe, but his music is so overproduced and slick. It makes me want to dig out some old Gang Starr and hear Premier cut up some scratchy old vinyl. And his hooks just don't do it for me. Just kind of boring.

Yes, but I find that people who pose out with their outre music Indie scene; [oh I like THIS obscure band aren't i cool] use it as a way to feel superior to others.

Yes, some truly enjoy that music, you are prob one of them, but I don't have that kind of time. It's like speed reading of music. Not to defend it but it is what it is.

do I get some extra credit because back in the day i used to like indigo girls, siouxsie and the banshees and the beautiful south? and I like my chemical romance. perhaps that is too commerical for your palette.
