My eleventh grade english teacher assigned "Absolom, Absolom" by William Faulker. On the first day that we were to discuss the book, I walked in to the room, threw the book onto the table where it slid the entire length of the table, coming to rest under my english teacher's nose. I at him and said "Fourteen pages without a mark of punctuation. I am not reading this book." He gazed back at me, unmoved, and then steepled his fingers. "As you wish, Miss Brazen," he said, "As you wish."
I did not read "Absolom, Absolom" nor have I ever read anything else but Faulkner. I want to like Faulkner, but I just can't even make myself try.

Uh, fall. Or whenever one is supposed to plant tulips. Does anyone really think I plant flowers? I'm the fucking CiC, I don't have time to plant flowers. I'm skydiving.

If I were the dog in question, no one would be surprised or angry that animal control was called.

Kan't's Critique of Pure Reason. I've tried to read it four times now, and each time, it kills me in the first 50 pages. I guess I'll never be able to be reasonable.

I was going to ask the same question, but that would mean that I know the proper season to plant them. Which, of course, I do. Talk about zero bang for your buck. Tulips are the two-pump chumps of flowers.

The Brothers Karamazov
I've tried 5 times and can't get past page 10. And I enjoyed The Idiot (softball).

So a friend sends me a link to a picture of a penis, (Spree: organ in formaldehyde), and she notes that apparently there's been some shrinkage due to pickling.
Damn. That monk was approaching the Monster Unit in size.

You can't really get a good gauge on the girl in the photo's body. Rasputin's cock is blocking it.

I *hated* "As I lay dying". I think it was just one long run-on sentence.
Senior year of College I had to read a book called "Paradoxia epidemica: The Renaissance tradition of paradox" for some advanced seminar on 17th century literature.
Four of us were supposed to do a talk on the book as it related to the subject matter of the course.
Class comes, we tell the prof the other two folks didn't bother to show up, she says use the whole hour (instead of 15 minutes a piece.) I talked for about 25 minutes on this book, how it defined paradox and how it related to some poems by John Donne and some other authors. I think I also babbled something about paradox in Rosalie Colie's life. (the author of the book in question.)
Somehow no one ever figured out I never read the book.
Personally, I don't think the prof ever read it either.
