Will you shut up already? I don't even know what point you're trying to make about where movies are filmed anymore.
And we get it. You think Str8 is a fake Hollywood insider (when you're really just pissed that he's doing something he enjoys when you're not).
Now let me anticipate your response. Is it "whiff?"

The kind where you can't sleep. They can only be cured by sex, dope and more booze. Or anti-anxiety meds.
I had one hangover in college where I got sweaty, felt like I was going to have a heart attack and had to leave class to catch my breath outside. That was terribly unnerving.
I never get physically debilitating hangovers, excpet that sometimes I'll have an elevated heartrate for a few hours the next day. Oddly, sometimes I'll get the reverse, where I'll have a resting pulse around 50. Depends on what I drink, I guess, and whether I smoke a lot while drinking.
The severity of the hangover is inversely congruent to the number of previous days you've been drinking heavily. On a good run, by day three I am not feeling shit. If there's a bit of weed around, I'm bulletproof.
|
Worse than a hangover of any variety is when you wake up the next day sick drunk. You aren't really hung over, but you feel like you've been rode hard and not put up yet. You're still drunk, slurring a bit and you can't quite seem to find your balance.
The only thing you can do with one of those mornings is to sit in a hot bath and smoke joints and drink lots and lots of ice water. And play John Coltrane.

This actually works pretty well on non-hangover mornings too.

You are advocating the devil weed? My world is turned upside down. Next you'll be attending N*Sync concerts.
Ps. Travis concert was very good last night. This is really just a gloat considering that it was their last US show. But anyone heading to the UK soon should check them out there. Anne Elk?

I love water and drink lots every day, but when I'm hungover (or still drunk) I can't stand it. It makes me feel all swooshy and gooshy. So I eat watermelon, if it's available, and italian ices, and drink ginger ale with lots of ice.
This works well if I start the day with a McDonald's sausage mcmuffin with egg, and hash browns (this is about the only time I'll eat McD's when I have other choices).

Please tell me how I am supposed to take the "and especially" part.
Your response will determine whether I bring the soccer mom/ boxboy and neglected corporate wife/pool man outfits to Coachella.

You had me until the McDonalds part. I was going to offer to be your hangover day companion. I assume it also involved laying on the couch, watching DVDs.

same here. A while ago I discovered that Pedialyte does the trick well for getting rehydrated without drinking water.

Yes on the couch and dvds. I'll eat my breakfast sandwich in the kitchen and then bring back three sippy cups with Pedialyte for you, gwinky, and me.

only time cures a hangover. drinking water the night of has been medically proven to do nothing except slow down your rate of drinking and the rate alcohol is absorbed. this does nothing but delay or neutraolize your buzz so of course you wont be hungover. you arent drunk.
what I do is take a klonapin, geta protein berry pizzazz smoothie from jamba if I can wlk the six blocks, and tune into a maration of E True Hollywood Stories, standup comedy, or Single in the CIty or whatever other scholock is on the We network. I plan to incorpoate Reuniting Bands into my routine based on a review from Salon.
And I eat tons of garlic and olive oil, either on a pizza or on pasta. good for the blood. and make a fire inthe hearth weather permitting. its fun to be hungover. thats a great day.
