Agreed that my posts are truly boring. The going down in a theater are truly compelling. I live for this.
Happy now? satisfied?

Anyone have a fat Asian secretary outside their office with smoke coming out of her ears as she tries to come up with a funnie?

I had no idea it would evolve into the stuffed animal.
ETA: I bet ABBA was encouraged by the thread title to post that.

Again and again, and when I ask you to explain, you say . . .

I'm just going to give it to you straight. I saw Sugar a long time ago and it turned me off of Mould. I thought the show was awful. I just was completely uninterested in anything he was doing. I decided to try to get over that this summer when he was playing for free at a GLBT block party during pride weekend, but they switched the set times and we arrived right after he finished playing. Mould and I were just not meant to be.

JFC, what the hell else do you expect? When you ask "how are my posts different from other people's posts?" you'd might as well be asking "why do you like them better than you like me?"
By the way, that question has been, uh, asked and answered, ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

I understand that when one is trying to lose weight, one obsesses about food, and about what one does and doesn't eat. I just don't want to experience it. It would be barely tolerable only if it were me and my diet were a screaming success, and even then it would be a crashing bore to even the bestest of my friends if I were to open my mouth about it.

This, my friend, is an A+ post.
Extra credit (on top of the A+) for spelling "lode" correctly.

Speaking of books.

Well, read it.
I should note that Winston Churchill was a politician who wrote well. A few of Nixon's books were also well-written, but I suspect that he had some help. I can't really think of another.
eta that one might call some portions of RN "well-written fiction," but that's a different standard. Heck, I suspect that portions of The Gathering Storm were perhaps a bit less than paragons of historical truth.

No. Are you truly unable to genuinely admit that someone occasionally posting details about his or her sex life is inherently more interesting than ten posts a day about the most mundane dietary decisions in her life? Please answer honestly, as it will affect the future of our cyber-dealings.

No I am able to admit it.
However, I note that I gave several examples one of which was HANK.

You are weakening.
Posts about sex one is having, has had, or fantasizes about is always going to be more interesting than posting about eating food one hates or that makes one feel deprived or whatever. In fact, posting about fabulous meals one is having, has had, or fantasizes about is always going to be more interesting (though possibly pretentiously annoying at the same time) than posting about eating food one hates or that makes one feel deprived or whatever.
It's why porn and erotica sell better than monks' musings on celibacy.

Probably because he made his living as a writer, even before he was a politician.

Saint Teresa of Avila has some awesome writings on masturbation.
