Frasier to end after next season

No response. It's pretty normal here for unmarried men & women. A lot of my friends are in b-school or are just starting to make decent money to buy a place of their own. I don't see any reason to rent a nice, expensive place for myself when the ultimate goal is to buy. I'm skipping the step that doesn't make much sense to me.

I would. Those numbers aren't based on game-ending, do-or-die scenarios. In his example, the Eagles had everything to lose on that play and GB, while having everything to gain, had (as he said), not that much to lose. Having everything to gain is not the same as having everything to lose (anyone who's played sports will tell you that). Although, GB had been running it down their throat all day, everything changes in that situation. And 20 yards closer with so little time left on the clock is HUGE.

Also, GB would have faced MUCH more criticism if they had gone for it and failed. As it stands, they backed Philly up to the 20 and Philly had to make a miracle 4th down, 26 yard reception (with a generous spot, I might add) to come out on top. Go with your defense that had played very well up until that point.

OB(yahoo)

I'm a little bored today, so I went over to Yahwehoo to look at the original archives - which seem to have disappeared - but I did notice that all the putative GA boards appear to be fully infested with cheesy pornmeisters. Did I miss something here, or has Yahwehhoo released control of content, or what? Just mildly curious, if anybody knows...jl

Perhaps not the concept, but the selective invocation. When you've been in your canoe on Lake Randymossa in July, do you tell people that it was 92, but 77 with the wind chill.

It's those of you who live in appallingly variable climates who need wind chill to exagerate just how bad it was out there. When we Northern Californians talk to each other, we can just say, "it was below 50 out there," or, "it was above 75," and the rest of us wince in sympathy.

We both of course have monogrammed stationery but my mom seems to think that you can't use monogrammed stationery, it isn't formal enough. I can see her point, but I am not buying new stationery just to reply to one or two invitations. What kind of stationery should you use?

Why don't you go back to being the FBA, since you posted that fake "oops wrong login" comment to make sure people didn't think it was you, when all it did was show us it actually was. Quit stalking her, psycho.

Drop a decimal point in there, and the same comments apply to the Richter scale...

Don't be silly. I'd never make out with clothes on.

If by "monogrammed stationery" you mean informal cards (roughly 4x6 size or ones that fold in half at the top) she's right. If you mean monogrammed formal stationery as in note sized single sheets (or double sheets folded at the left side), that's formal stationery, monogrammed or not. You can even use it for condolence letters.

Otherwise I'd just get some backup white sheets & envelopes in the standard note size (not the full letter size).

I agree that wind chill can seem a little silly at times. "It is 23 degrees with a wind chill factor of negative 158." But generally, the wind chill factor can provide some very helpful information. For example: Zero degrees on a windless day = not a bad day for outdoor activities. Zero degrees with a wind chill of negative 50 = a day where, if you are not careful when you go outside, you will die.
