Not really. I mean, you could call it that, but I wouldn't.

Dear court reporters and copy services,

You may carpet bomb our office with plates of holiday cookies continually from now until the new year, but you will be no more or less likely to get my business in 2007. Unless the cookies suck.

Best,

Best,

Flower

Damn this cold which has addled my brain more than it is usually addled. Jeans are against the firm's dress code, they would have sent me home for sure. I'll have to remember that trick next Friday.

I told you twice to stop lying. You either did not listen or you chose to disregard my request. Now I am going to have to politely ask you to retire.

I received two bottles of wine from a court reporter. If I had any say in the matter, they would be more likely to get our business in 2007. Alas, I have no say in it.

They need to kick it up a notch. Gourmet food baskets and high end alcohol sets are far superior to cookie plates. The carpet bomb was a nice touch though...never heard it referred to as that.

A bottle or two of wine would go far to getting your people in the room to slavishly transcribe every sacred utterance in the depositions I take. If those people happen to be nubile young babes with supple ruby red lips, all the better. I may even share the wine with them.

Wife started doing this last year. Apparently they are in? I still think they look horrible (no offence).

Can one order a court reporter for a night out of drinking with the guys?
