the publishing process

Anyhow, Allyson wrote a blog post last night that sort of lays out the entire process (for her, anyway) of how the book came into being on the publishing end.
In other book news, a person from the class ahead of mine in high school is also releasing her first book this summer. I've heard that it's supposed to be spectacular.

You're kidding, right? You can't watch anything on t.v. without seeing a commercial or some type of tie-in to that movie.

From what I recall, no one else realized it was my anniversary except for my ex and me.

did you have the ex-sex with him, after the dinner? Or before?

I haven't seen a preview either. And I do watch some tv. Just not shows that would have a tie-in to that movie. I have seen the YIPPEE KI whatever ads on LA busses however. I wouldn't have relized those were related to the Die Hard movie if Gattigap hadn't pointed that out here. I think I saw the first one of these (or part of it) on tv several years after it came out. Not my thing.

I also rank the first one as my favorite Christmas movie, but I haven't seen all that much in terms of tie ins. I think I saw the preview when I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean, but I tivo and fast forward through all commercials. For whatever reason, their internet campaign hasn't hit me yet. Unless it's marketed on the internet, I generally don't see much in the way of advertising.

Lately I watch: the Red Sox, over MLB.com, which gives me a blank screen during the commercials; soccer, which I record on my DVR, letting me skip the commercials; and the Daily Show and Colbert, but usually on the DVR, with my wife zipping through the commercials.

Sports Drink
I believe there was a recent discussion on exercise/fitness drinks. This company, http://www.infinitnutrition.us/, mixes customized drinks supposedly based on your age, weight, sex, sport of choice, amount of sweating, etc.
The company is supplying drinks at the aid stations for my upcoming 1/2 Ironman.
It aint cheap.

I was also trying to be sensitive to Sparkle's needs. After all, she may not be up for the FMF, and if she's not a voyeur, then hanging around during the getting laid part in order to get drunk after might be rather awkward.
You see, Shifter, a truly helpful and compassionate person such as myself always considers the needs and desires of all stakeholders.
A decent person also pays attention to what people have posted earlier in the day if it directly addresses your question. I think that should be your take-away from today's posts.
