At lunch today I was sitting at an outdoor patio 100 yards from the hotel where the players/TV people stay. Bill Walton walked by! I hoped he wold sit down to eat, so I could hear him complain about the risotto. Instead he walked to the Birmingham 8 for a matinee. I bet sitting near him in the theatre is no picnic.
As to Jackson, I guess he's ready to challenge the "guy who can only coach a fully loaded team" theory. I would have thought he'd pick something a little more fully stocked though.

I'm sure someone else has already posted it, but you are now on my shitlist for not tripping him up or accidently dropping your soup on his lap or something.

A random high school story

For a brief period I played drums with his band, The Pretention Mounts.
Anyways, towards the end of my Grade 12 year, or maybe it was Grade 13, we got to talking, and found out we both liked to play tennis. So a few times that summer, I went over to his house and we'd play tennis. He lived in a very nice neighborhood (GWNC: Forest Hills), in a very bright, clean house. His mom was a completely normal Toronto mom, and he wore normal tennis clothes when we played. He was pretty good too.
My life is poorer for not having people like Death around.

Maybe you could Google him?

Joe Finestein from my class was a complete stoner. His nickname was "drugs." He signed my yearbook with it. It makes it hard to let the kids see Dad's yearbook. If anyone has a good cover story let me know, but I'm thinking white out may be the only way.

I love that site. I even bought their t-shirt. It's orange, and in yellow lettering says, "I hate what you're wearing" (if it said "I hate what your wearing", I would have had to hurt them, so they're all breathing a sigh of relief, I can tell you that)

The papa-to-be in my house is on a nightly ice cream habit -- even when I forego it in favor of fruit. He still has a magic metabolism, however, so there is no sympathy weight gain (the fucker). The other night he discovered a flavor of ice cream called Cake Batter It was really fucking good. Tasted just like Betty Crocker yellow cake batter, and not fake at all. What exactly is it that gives cake batter its flavor? It's not vanilla. And it's not eggs, b/c the stuff smells like that out of the box. Is it some unpronouncable chemical?

Someone introduced a container of Ben & Jerry's organic brownie ice cream into our freezer the other night, and the stuff tasted like crap. What are the inorganic ingredients in Ben & Jerry's ice cream that make it taste so good?

The sort of people who would bother to purchase organic ice cream don't want to truly enjoy the taste. It would interfere with their suffering.

I need this one!!

dingo snack
It's a fact of nature that each parent wants to one-up every other parent. Whether you publicly give voice to it or not, your belief is that your baby is best in every way -- the cutest, the smartest, the best behaved...
...the tastiest.
You know, maybe there aren't even dingoes where you live. But secretly, you probably feel that your baby is delicious enough to make a nice snack for a wild dog.
Um. God forbid.

ETA Dammit, it's sold out. Str8, you selling any?

It was, allegedly, an accident.

You're quite welcome. I saw it when I found the final touch to my totally awesome and original "Rock Me Amadeus" Halloween costume.
Note to secret admirer: Now you know. People who cannot know (until Halloween) lurk at the other place. Sorry, no bustiers this year.

$$$$$$$$$
So this depressed me this AM.
A few months back I had occasion to obtain some New Zealand currency, which may be the world's coolest. It has the multi pastel colors thing that is so common, but also has cut outs for anti-counterfeiting, and with cellophane in the cutouts. What's coolest is the cutouts are different shapes.
then a week or so ago I was in London Ontario with a fistfull of Canadian bills. they have the color thing, but the front is all the Queen so that was boring. But the backs had scenes of Canadian life. One I saw had guys playing hockey on an outdoor pond. I assume they change the scenes frequently, and you could always look and see what is new. Much better than static marble monuments.
And so I was thinking I really wish we'd get our money to be better to look at. We could have changing non-green money. Which would be a big improvement in my opinion.
Then I realized with all the currency readers in commerce they wouldn't be able to change money without a huge expense to change out the machines. We're stuck with it. ![Frown](http://www.lawtalkers.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

I hate to break it to you but I think I've heard that joke on some sitcom like Will & Grace or Friends.
eta that it may have a B. Kliban cartoon too.
