Partner Yoga
When I used to live in the patch I used to go to this Yoga class where we did a fair amount of partner Yoga, which was lots of fun.
Does anyone have any experiences with partner Yoga poses being used in Yoga classes in New York? I currently belong to Equinox and they have lots of great classes, but I haven't seen any partner stuff going on.

Playboy and Walmart

If they had sold Playboy, they could threaten to not sell it anymore and Playboy would probably have caved, but they have no ammo against Playboy now. They also pay their workers such shitty wages that firing them for appearing in Playboy is not really a threat either. So screw Wal-Mart.

This puts Playboy squarely in the 0.5% of big american companies that are not terrified of pissing off Wal-Mart.

All-Star Survivor

Here is the list (broken down by season):
1: Rudy Boesch, Richard Hatch, Susan Hawk, Jenna Lewis
2: Amber Brkich, Alicia Calaway, Colby Donaldson, Jerri Manthey, Tina Wesson
3: "Big Tom" Buchanan, Lex Van den Berghe, Ethan Zohn
4: Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien, Rob Mariano
5: Shii Ann Huang
6: Rob Cesternino, Jenna Morasca
7: Rupert Boneham
|
So Shii Ann is the Lance Carter of Survivor. I'm glad they got both Robs; I think that's interesting. Notable by their absence are Vecepia and Neleh, as well as Brian and Clay from Season 5. Jenna has grown on me and I think she's very worthy. I'm sad that Andrew Savage didn't make the cut from the current season.
My prediction for a winner: Tina Wesson.

I don't really much like the partners here, so I can't see myself doing yoga with them.

Good point. Vickie's Secret is such cheap crap that this $1MM top with no support would probably break a strap on the first wearing.

Isn't that stuff just chocolate sauce with hot water? Why do I think Hershey's somehow omits the good-for-you stuff.

She's not "the model". She's Heidi Klum. Do not try to marginalize her. When other models refer to you as "The Body", you deserve to be called by your name.
Just sit back and enjoy her wonderfulocity.

Average Jane?

Not a chance, even with an average-to-homely looking guy. I think Average Joe is more fun for me to watch because every one of those guys thinks he "deserves" a hot babe. An Average Jane show would be painful to watch -- take the behavior of the women on the Bachelor who convince themselves they are in love with Bob and multiply it by the rampant insecurities of women who know they are not hot but still want the fairy tale. Ouch.

I suppose this should go on pm, but, I'm feeling rebellious (grrrrowl!). What yoga teachers do you like at Equinox? They have some really good ones. I don't think they have partner yoga there, but I have heard of it, I just can't remember where.
I also found my own trainer through Equinox (he's not a trainer AT Equinox, but he is a spin/other stuff teacher there -- and he is so head-and-shoulders above any other trainer I've had -- he's absolutely fantastic.) He helped me lose 25 lbs. after the birth of my 1-year-old. I truly heart him.
So, I have no answer to your question, but am asking one of my own.
