Nice use of irrelevant non-connected third line. With a subtle sarcasm connection.

Ripped from the headlines!!
From the yahoo news this morning:
>>In other developments, an associate of Yasser Arafat (news - web sites) said the Palestinian leader was set on edge by an Israeli army raid near his West Bank compound earlier this week. Arafat reportedly clutched a submachine gun as he shouted out orders at security guards and declared that he feels "the smell of paradise." <<
I guess anything but the smell of other people living in the same room for 16 months would probably be paradise.
So, was that other smell gunpowder, that gas the Russians used at the theater, or chocolate chip cookies?
Uhm, hello!

Maybe they made a few copies, put electronic markers on them, and then passed them to all the suspects from the CIA thing. Clever bitches them.
I couldn't help but notice the preview of last week's "K Street" (I didn't watch the episode--yawn) said something like "DC is atwitter with pending CIA leak indictments".

Uhm, do we consider the "Bear" a connection to nature?

No, silly. That's a verb. Caymans. A "Caymans trip" is a metaphor* for Shape Shifter's biannual sex tour of the Carribbean.
*A.k.a. "misan-trope."

Gotcha. Thanks. Speaking of geography-as-nature:
Ghetto sightseeing
hoochies, needles, spoons and rides
Bil Mo' come back please

And I would like to publicly thank Atticus for his timmy efforts on our promotional materials. While intriguing, the bisexual anal tour of the Caribbean was not what I had in mind. nttawwt.

I think sarge was suggesting that Rumsfeld wanted it leaked, not that one of his aides has Tourette's.
edited to add:
Not a direct answer to sarge's question, but Josh Marshall talks here about who anti-Rumsfeld stories are being leaked to.

Sure there has, even on an annual basis.
May I refer you to p. 269 (warning: large pdf of Economic Report of President not suitable for dialup). Real GDP declined for two consecutive years from 1973-75, from 1979 to 1980, 1981 to 1982, 1990 to 1991, and in Q1 and Q2 of 2001. See also p. 274 (for percentage changes).
We can quibble over the definition of recession, but we've definitely had them--in the form of negative real growth--several times in the past 30 years.

They say {Spree: Boston Globe} there is TIP between Bush I's hangers-on and the Bush II administration, leading to some interesting undermining of Bush II's authority in non-fundamentalist GOP circles --- like Bush I giving the 2003 George Bush Award for Excellence in Public Service to Ted Kennedy.
Long story short, Marshall is not alone in thinking that when Bush II is made to look bad, it's because of a Spy in the House of Love.
