Spoiler space
Wow! What a finish. I no longer want to meet friends for a birthday party. I want to go home and watch OLN tonight.

*Anne, this isn't a criticism of you, it's more of a criticism of our tendency to blindly follow conventions, even when those conventions are stupid and pointless.
Why don't we just indicate that there are spoilers in the subject line?

As far as I am concerned, any means of contraception that works by intentionally irritating utirine tissue should be avoided, in my view.
If it were my wife, I would seriously counsel against it.

The IUD is apparently new and improved and safer this time (or I doubt that the FDA or whatever agency is in charge of such things would have allowed them back into the marketplace). I know two people who use it and both of them swear by it. One of them blurted out how happy she was with it in mixed company one night, which I thought was a bit much. But they're getting rave reviews here.
FBA, what does your doctor say about the risks of them now?

I think there was one specific IUD that had problems -- the Dalkon Shield -- and other ones have not. But all of them got bad reps. No, I don't have one.
If someone smokes the IUD might be a better choice, since the pill is so bad then.
are sponges available here now?

If you care about spoiler space, that won't work, because people don't read the subject lines.

You mean in the drugstore? I think so, although I have not checked. They have always been available online, which is where I order them. In bulk, like a responsible nympho.

That's a fair point.
Okay then, then in the first line, why not put the word. *SPOILER* and lose the space?

thank you.
I think it works out to about $3 a sponge. If you pay for the movie, I'll pick up the cost of sparing the world my demon offspring.

Even if I were capable of impregnating you, that is not a good deal unless we are at a second-run theater in the boonies.
If we were to produce offspring, how demonic would they be?
