2. It was better when Al queda was simply funding and training people to attack us here. During Clinton. while he did nothing, all AQ did was prepare to strike us here- I mean if you ignore the attacks on our embassies and bases and ships overseas.

1. Isn't this essentially saying that they lack of political muscle to force an immediate withdrawl, and thus are thus adopting a tactic that they think is more likely to be effect?
2. Why do you post these things withought attribution? From the parantheticals, I can only assume that you are posting something from the moonbat right, likely a direct analog to the very sites that you like to malign.

I am not sure many people would agree with you about Clinton doing nothing.

(a) Where'd you get this piece, Slave? I'd suggest caution because it is factually inaccurate. (For example, Murtha was not convicted of any crime related to the ABSCAM investigation. In fact, I don't think he was charged. He didn't take the money.)
(b) Oh, yeah, that "pig" will absolutely "starve" our troops. They won't have even a bullet to shoot at the ravening hordes of Islamofascists surrounding them.
So, the Congressional Dems really can't win with you, can they? They are amoral pussies if they do nothing and amoral pussies if they may do something you disagree with. Gotcha.

Yerp -- and your boys were busy working to impeach him for splooging on an intern instead of demanding that he do more to defend our great nation -- or proposing alternative policies. Great use of time and resources there.

That's quite wrong.

It is. The Social Conservative wing of the GOP is an embarrassment. They're better titled "The William Jennings Bryan Party."

I knew Hank'd wander into that open barn door.
Clearly, I was speaking more to Clinton's economic policies. Context is to Hank as gravity is to Superman.

You're a lawyer and you still believe in truth? Shit, man, my whole job is to make truth as ambiguous as possible. Except when my job is to figure out what truth is. I hate it when that happens.

Hank,
I forever concede (not that I ever argued the contrary) that Clitnon's policies toward AQ are unforgiveable. When I say I like him becazuse he did nothing, I'm speaking about his running the country as a good moderate Republican (many of whom would likely have followed a similar policy toward AQ).
You're right,
SD

Given that Clinton was 100% more hawkish toward AQ than EVERYONE else, this is really more than a little unfair.
And, as I said, I disagree that he did nothing economically. Although most of what he did was cheerleading.
