Coldest I ever mountain biked was zero. I have a carbon fiber frame now, though, so I am not sure how it would hold up.

Carbon fiber is best at below-freezing temps. You can lick your bike and your tongue doesn't stick like it does on metal bikes. |

The best thing about 15 degree temperature is that you can jog commando. You* don't often get to do that b/c of support issues.
