You want him to get, what, like jingle-bell rings? Jingle-bell bracelets? And have the firm pay for the jingle bells?

You are correct, as alway. I will have to locate a more suitable subject. Would it be awkward for me to ask the secretary if I may borrow her bells for a few minutes? Or should I assign this task to the subject?

Cette liste, elle est merde.
Couldn't agree more; the Captain Beefheart ranking struck me as especially bizarro (BIZARRO! BIZARRO!).

Thanks to you Jack, however, now I own "FEVER PITCH: THE OFFICIAL MUSIC OF THE 2002 FIFA WORLD CUP," purchased for $0.92. 12 inches of Snow and Pocker Full of Kryptonite were purchased for similarly low prices. The thing I'm really excited about is Indie-Can '91 Sampler 2 disc set, with BNL and Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, and 30 bands I don't think I've ever heard of, like "Mercredi a Milwaukee" and "Gen".

The food was good, BTW. But who knew that they sold wine in earthenware casks? And the next time we're blowing $500, let's not do it on Afghan. I'm not sure I ever want to eat that much lamb again.

Fill with 1/2 7-Up
Fill with 1/2 Sweet and Sour Mix
1 oz Blue Curacao

These drinks would cause an otherwise healthy person to develop diabetes.

Only Bizarro in that the hep kids know that "Bat Chain Puller" is my most underappreciated opus.

And the kittens really dig "Lick My Decals Off, Baby"!!!

I can't go in Pink. All that light purple and pink makes me think my eyes will start watering because of the potpourri.

As for Boss, I only have a few shirts from there because I'm cheap and will only upgrade my shirt collection a few at a time.

What about this says Tony Montana (Note: I don't like the tie in the second photo)?

And you really shouldn't be popping shit about what not to wear if you need your wife to hold your hand when you go shopping, Pinkie Tuscadero.

Ah, Snow. Sadly, dancehall reggae didn't need a Vanilla Ice archetype. However, 12 Inches of Snow goes down in history as music's greatest, and perhaps only, triple-entendre album title.

As for Spin Doctors, shame on you. Mark my words: No one will have a kind word for them on "I Love the '90s." Not even Gedde Watanabe.

Stocks on a Jag

Headline: "Stocks End Up, Aided by United Tech, Coke"

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...kets_stocks_dc

In addition to the concern I feel at the methods used to attain these highs, I am also a little worried about the crash that inevitably follows. Has anybody ever tried this "United Tech"? What does that do?

I am operating at a disadvantage here because I haven't read any of the articles, and don't know many of the facts. Not that this is keeping me from giving you shit, so I guess my own little cost-benefit analysis turns out pretty well.
You've got to be kidding. I think Cashman is a little weasel who only has a job because he lacks the balls to stand up to George. But on this one, I think Cashman wasn't the evil villain that everyone painted him out to be.

Andy said he wanted to test free agency. Cashman let him without complaint. When it came time to put the chips down, his offer was almost 10 million dollars more than the one Andy took. That's pretty much all Cashman said (did you even read it?).

If you want to criticize because Cashman didn't wine and dine him enough, go ahead. But based on what I've seen (and that includes the transcript from his conference call), I don't think Cashman deserves that much of the blame on this one.
