Otherwise, I (and Thurgreed, I'm sure) stand by this assessment:

2003:
Mussina, Pettite, Clemens, Wells, Weaver

2004:
Mussina, Vasquez, Brown, Contreres, Lieber.

But for Mussina, we've gotten better at every spot in the rotation. And but for Lieber, we've gotten a lot younger, too.
You are right on each of your points. Clemens was never a favorite of mine. Of course, when he's a Yankee, I'll support him like any other Yankee, but I think most Yankee fans remember when he pegged Jeter (in spring training, I believe) for no reason other than that he had had success against him.

And this "I'm coming out of retirement" crap is ridiculous. You have to actually miss a game to be retired. Whatever.

Houston's rotation has definitely improved and you have to give their front office respect for that. But, mark my words, Pettitte and Clemens will not have close to the same number of wins this year. Their numbers may stay the same (because they're pitching in the national league), but wins will drop.

Vasquez will be better than Pettitte. Contreras will be better than Wells.

The key word in your sentence is "was." Last year he wasn't better than Wells. This year he will be.

Genius. "So your sister's out... on a date... and you just sit at home, and masturbate... but Captian Jack will get ya high tonight, and take you to your special island..." I think there's a warrant out for him in the Hague for "We Didn't Start the Fire."

Christian Intellectuals:

Pick a team already. You're like hooking up with a bi chick in college. You never know if she'd rather be getting some pussy, and neither does she.

Agree. I can finally wear my emerald jodhpurs to a club without drawing (negative) attention.*

*This is a lie. IRL, I dress more like Benjamin Andre from the video. I will, however, be naming a son Dookie Blasingame or Possum Jenkins.

I will bet you a beer -- no, a bottle of Black Bushmills -- that not one of the "new/2004" pitchers in the above rotations you listed will match the wins of the "old/2003" pitchers. And that includes comparing Mussina 2004 to Mussina 2003. (Yeah, I'm taking a risk with leaving Weaver in there, but I'll stand by it.)
I'll take that bet. Why don't we make it a case of your favorite beer for each spot in the rotation?

Its the Addicted to Love of 2003/04. I can't shut it off, no matter how much I hear it. Its like that Coldplay tune "Clocks." I'm certain I hate Coldplay with all my being, and that all their songs are variations on the same piano line, but that doesn't stop me from being glued to the radio like a dim 15 year old virgin who just got dumped when I hear that tune. Its fucking infectious. I hate myself for liking that stupid piano line and tolerating that guy's vocals.

You know, I'll probably never watch a chick eat roast beef with a straight face again.

Good question. Maybe because she's been out of the spotlight for much of last year and no one saw her in her ugly ho clothing.
But, Mr. Blackwell made near the top of the list on AmIAnnoying.com (child actor list) another list that Paigow won't see. http://www.amiannoying.com/(dfw35j45...ollection=1513
A list where Mary-Kate is less annoying than Ashley Olsen - go figure. I thought they'd be about the same, and Bridget Wilson-Sampras is only half annoying. Pete Rose gets his own list.

I've been looking for a penis holster. If I can only find one in a dress that makes the wearer look like they've failed in their attempt to escape from a mental institution's 5th floor using yellow bedsheets, does that make me a metrosexual?
