I'm sorry -- hope I didn't spoil it for you by announcing that it was a tearjerker.
It was a 2 part series -- I think each episode was 2 hours, so maybe you recorded the whole thing.

I know that there is a gag order on British media about it, but we're not British. I assume it's some sex thing, but I can't find it via google anywhere. Whom is he alleged to have done something to? And what?
My last request for salacious information or pictures was fulfilled quickly, so I'm hoping that, since I'm actually sincere and asking nicely with this one, it will also be quickly satisfied.
Thanks!

I'm not sure. But according to Neil Gaiman,

"Erotic licking" plays no part in the Tango. Neither, of course, do balloons. [*]Only a lunatic would apply shoe-polish to a weasel. [*]If the alleged incidents had in fact occurred in broad daylight during a car-boot sale in Harrow then there would be photographs, and quite possibly a plaster cast. [*]By now the "Use by" stamps on the yoghurt would have expired, indicating it as unfit for human consumption. [/list=1]

Speaking of Kiera Knightly, I saw Love Actually this weekend and loved it. It may very well be more of a statement of my emotional state lately than the movie, but I cried several times and laughed a lot more. I have developed a crush on a Brit named Andrew Lincoln after seeing this. No Kiera Knightly boobies, but there were Laura Linney boobies, and Joanna Page boobies in the movie.

Breast Milk For Sale
I'm surprised that 87% of people voting said that if they or their partner were unable to breastfeed, they would NOT feed the kid another woman's milk. Whatever happened to the proud tradition of wet nurses?

I remember the scene with the servants; great stuff. They made it seem like she was trapped in a prison where the guards could pretend she was the warden. I loved the train station scene towards the end too. Anyway, bottom line for me is it was an unforgettable character.
[a random question]:
1.) You think its a great movie;
2.) Nobody below the age of (45?) appreciates it, except you;
3.) At some point, either audiences, critics or the academy loved it.

Part I -- oh definitely, she's been in some stinkers...
I now vaguely remember a little more of the conversation. I think she says something like, "I've decided to kill my poet." and then makes the telling statement about how "someone must die so that those who remain living can better appreciate their lives" or something like that.
As to your question, I don't know how one reconciles parts 2 and 3. Is the point that only old farts like it (well, old farts and you, that is.)
I will shill here for one of my faves (which, until recently, I thought was underappreciated, but I have since learned that it got a few (many?) academy award nominations, and that it is the second- or third-most popular movie of all time according to an imdb.com poll), but I love, love, love it -- The Shawshank Redemption. Awesome movie. I love Morgan Freeman in that flick.

I was wondering what kind of FDA (or USDA?) regs there would be for human breast milk. Can wet nurses still be hired and, if so, are they regulated?

I am sick of the annying singing voice, the sugary southern accent and quick quips about the *kiss* and growing up in the spotlight. Didnt she go away for liek a year bc she was overexposed and had bad sales? did she learn NOTHING from JHo (who must be silently thanking lil Brit)? When will this be over? She is like an E True Hollywood story at warp speed. From failed sales to exodus to nudity to lesbian bullshit to regret in like nine months. Make it stop.

Ahhh, generation gap in progress here.
The thing about nobody under 45, is that a lot of great old movies are never picked up by the next generation. Dr. Zhivago and Casablanca notwithstanding. But, at the same time, a lot of sucky old movies are never picked up by the next generation either.
Which leads to the previous critical acclaim part. So I'm not saying only old farts and you (or me) like a movie. Rather, a long time ago someone liked it, but they forgot to tell us to watch it later.
Like The Apartment or Stalag 17.
But The Shawshank Redemption? Great movie, but I can't imagine anyone in America hasn't seen it. I'm lookin for the overlooked gems.
Yo, sorry for any miscommunication here. You have to have something, and I like the randomness of asking someone who I agree with (once) for a rec.

Is the guy who made the allegation that he had been raped by a male servant/aide (which is kind of old news and has been in the press for a while) the same guy who is now alleging that Charles did something to him, too?

No, but that guy is the one claiming that he witnessed an incident between Charles and his valet. Apparently there might have been a tape of something too. Sounds like the tape was sent to Princess Di's butler or something...

Ahhh. OK, now I get it.
Well, I know some of these received critical acclaim (as I did a quick search of the Academy Award database to remind myself of old movies I have seen -- and actually, you have a point -- I haven't seen what I'd call "a lot" of old movies), but some, not (and I think maybe some of these fall into the Casablanca camp):
Really Old
To Kill a Mockingbird (I actually have this on DVD -- and I don't have many movies on DVD)
Guys & Dolls
Some Like it Hot (the most obvious candidate for Casablanca-ism)
Splendor in the Grass
Butterfield 8
Might Not Qualify as Generation-Gap (but then again, I'm old...)
Marathon Man
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
Rosemary's Baby
The Graduate
The Way We Were (sappy, and has Babs -- and I still love it!)
Cuckoo's Nest (though you've probably seen this)

Sebbie, you know I love you, but sometimes you are a moron.
What do you think lesbians and gay men do, go down on each other and call it a night? I mean I love cunnilingus as much as the next girl, but really.
Of course I never bought the whole oral sex isn't sex thing either. That's just a rationalization to knock down the number of people someone has fucked.

Two for the Road
with Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. I came across this film, which I had not heard of previously, during some Audrey Hepburn marathon. It's really quite good. Of course, I wasn't alive when it came out, so I have no idea whether it was critically or popularly acclaimed. But is strikes me as a film more likely to engender critical success: one of the main features of the film is that it continuously leaps around between different points in the couple's lives, generally through cuts of driving along roads (i.e. a scene cuts to another 20 years later where the common theme is that the one ends and the next begins with driving down the same road). It works better than it sounds.
And of course, Hepburn is gorgeous.
