TM's greatest hits
How many products have companies recently released that are "basically the same" as an iPod, but in fact were vastly inferior and rejected by the market?

Am hitting the video store tonight. And stopping to get Korean food. And now, because of you all, sweets from Payard.

They also added a custom ringtone feature that allows you to use certain songs (that I assume they have contracts for) from iTunes. You can make the ring any length up to 30 seconds. The cool thing is, you can go through your current songs and see which ones are set up for ringtones, so you already own it, you don't have to re-buy it (although, it costs $1 to create a ringtone out of a song).

With respect to many or most of those products, I'm not so sure "vastly inferior" has been established. However "rejected by the market" is basically a slam dunk.

I saw this. Do you really think this is going to be the same phone? Will you be able to put all your music on it? Watch movies and tv? I'm not trying to shit on it, but I doubt it works as well, is as cool or has as much stuff on it.
Besides, the iPhone has a qwerty keyboard. It's just on the screen. It takes 3 days to get used to and I type faster on it than on my Blackberry because the predictive software is that good.

I like the phone. What can I say?
I had a Treo before this and after using the iPhone and now think the Treo should be used for nothing more than hammering nails.

The Detroit marathon course goes over the bridge to Windsor. Does the Minneapolis marathon cross any bridges, because I would be freaked to run over one of your bridges. not to worry abba, but forewarned is forearmed.

Verizon will nickel and dime you to death, though. They charge extra to type vowels and punctuation marks.

It does cross a bridge going over the Mississippi. It does indeed.

Umm, all of them?
I remember whan I first bought an MP3 music player. Cost was $200 and it held like 20 songs. Software never worked and the company eventually filed Ch. 7.

hmmmm. okay, couple of things. one might want to stay near the center of the bridge and once you've crossed the first third sprint until you get to the final third. the ends of the bridge always stand. also, while on the bridge keep an eye out for a fatter person if front of you; in case you do fall any cushion can save your life. if you hear a crack beeline for that guy's backside.
That is what I'd tell Abba, if, in fact, there were anything to worry about crossing the bridge, which, of course, there isn't.
I mean, they've fired the people who were checking your bridges and put new people in their place who have now fully inspected and approved all the bridges in the city, right?

Yes and was thrilled to be scared shitless watching a movie made after 1980. I want movies like John Carpenter's, "The Thing" (blood test anyone?) and The Omen. I have not seen the following which were supposed to be scary -- anyone see them:
HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (Are there torture scenes in here? Is it too fucked up to watch?)
THE HITCHER
LOST HIGHWAY

The original version of "The Haunting" from the 60's is as good a ghost movie as they get.
The original version of "the Wicker Man" from the 70's is one of the creepiest movies made (if you can ignore the parts with the hippy singing).
I still think the American version of "The Ring" was one of the scariest movies in the past decade.
And don't forget "Gigli"
