Farnsworth House
Chicagoians, has there been any news on who ended up buying the Farnsworth house and whether or not it will be moved?
I'd heard that the preservation society probably hadn't raised enough funds, but it's possible that the legislature and/or the governor will intervene if there is any move to relocate the house to another location.

You don't think Clarice is cute? All the reindeer playing reindeer games thought so.
Don't worry. The avatar will change again. I will try and keep your preference for blondes in mind when searching for one.

Seems to work only intermittantly. Funny that.
edited again to add: It seems to work only if I load the page, go back to the previous page, and then forward again. Funnier that.

The Sothbey's site has no news either, though wandering around that site has driven me into my covetous mode. There was an auction of "Important 20th Century Design" today, and half the things there would look perfect in my home. Fortunately or unfortunately depending on one's point of view, I don't have two or three million to buy all the stuff I would have wanted.
Edited to add: YES! The preservation society got it.

I didn't pay last night. I am blessed with very good friends. Hmm. Maybe I can con one of them into taking me to a Sothbey's auction.
