someone ate a peanut then shook someone's hand and that guy died. where is the stupidity? I want to be PC. when I've touched a peanut should I ask anyone near me if they are allergic, or should the allergic wear some smock that would tell me? Stores roast peanuts and blow the smell on the sidewalk. people walk down the street eating snacks EVEN peanuts.
I know this is sensitive to you, and I don't care if schools ban peanuts, but I really just don't see what you are protecting them from long term. It strikes me that once they're out of whatever school they're in that can ban peanuts, once they're in the world, they will be exposed to peanuts, or they can stay in a bubble.
I am of course the second dumbest poster, so maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't get what the benefit is of protecting someone through their school years when that person will ultimately have to learn to be very careful, or isolated.

I've started shampooing and bathing with peanut oil in an attempt to return some sanity to evolution. I trail death behind me - a modern Peanut Less.

I think it is like the difference between like waiting for the light to cross versus just hoping the cars will stop for you.
Guy I want to spend rest of life with may be showering at my house tomorrow night. Platonically. Jesus H.

As many of you know, I'm going to Philadelphia tomorrow, but no worries. I believe she is referring to a butler candidate that comes highly recommended.

TV deprivation?
Is me liking the second season of How I Met Your Mother a sign of severe TV deprivation?

Maybe the kids with the allergies are stupid for having being born that way. Did you ever think of that?

I would have thought of that if I believed that peanut allergies existed in the first place.
I am exhausted today. I'm thinking Epsting-Barr.

Anne, I think you are overreacting on this subject. No one is saying that the provisions already made should be pulled, or that they are not fair.
If you feel that more provisions should be made, I'm all ears to specifics.

And more on this: That chick who supposedly died because her peanut-butter-loving boyfriend kissed her? She did not die from an alleged peanut allergy at all:

Of course, thing whole thing supposedly went down in Canada, which I also have always doubted really exists. I mean, the concept of Canada is a nice -- this bucolic, pot-friendly, northern world of beer drinkers and hockey players. In fact, sometimes I think it is too bad it does not really exist.

Assuming that Anne did have some concrete proposal for the further elimination of danger to the allegedly peanut allergic, why would she waste time trying to persuade you?

True dat.
However, I'm trying to bring some sanity back from her original hypotheses of I think she said "so what you are saying is all peanut allergy sufferers should be put down"
My 8 year old does that. I say "___ please don't take the toy away from your brother" and he replies "whaaatttt you hate me? everyone hates me? they all think I'm stupid?"
uh no. please don't take the toy away from your brother. no drama. thank you.
