You mean there are 1,000,000 people on the course watching? There have to be more than 1MM people watching live on tv, no?
(I can't think of any more ways to write "1 million" -- oops -- there's one more.)

Recipe help, again

Okay, so I ended up getting my mom's vanilla ice cream recipe, and then cooking the custard (she usually doesn't) following the method in The Dessert Bible. It was delicious topped with fresh local raspberries, marionberries and blueberries.
I have some leftovers. Anyone have any great ideas for a recipe using a) two cobs' worth fresh corn, b) 1/4 lb country bacon, c) two beefsteak tomatoes, and d) some sliced Walla Walla onion? Assume the presence of basic staples, including fresh herbs in the garden. This is to feed 2 adults and one voracious three-year-old boy.
Atticus, does the Cooks' Illustrated web edition have complex search capability?
Thanks

I heard them say that people have been living in motor homes along this stage for the last 2 weeks, so as to get the best view. Amazing...

No shit.
New Browns quarterback Jeff Garcia has yet to throw one
touchdown pass for Cleveland, but the former San Francisco 49er is certainly scoring well in making new (and interesting) friends here. Word is Garcia is dating Avon Lake (Cleveland suburb)native Carmella DeCesare, Playboy Magazine's current Playmate of the Year.

Coltrane, not that I don't love it when you transform the FB into Maxim or FHM, but you're not doing that chick any favors by putting her picture on the same page as Halle's. Talk about suffering by comparison.

No comparison. My post was regarding Cleveland and the fact that Jeff Garcia is actually dating a female.
Although I don't ride the Halle bandwagon as much as others (I like my hot movie stars to look more exotic), she is definitely hotter than the Playmate.
