Give 'em credit for not using Celine Dion. If they had, someone would have had to outright severely lecture Canada in retaliation.
(edited to take a gentler stance, as I sincerely wish nothing bad to happen to any Canadian on account of Celine Dion nor for any other reason.)

Technical question
Is there anyway to go directly to my first unread post? I going to the beginning of the thread and clicking the button titled "go to first unread post" but it doesn't seem to work. Any advice?
Here's something I miss about the old board. There the posts I had already read were highlighted.

My guess is that they each did full sets of at least 20 minutes and that they only showed the best of Tere, and didn't show how old that schtick would get after half an hour of it.

Similar to circle jerk (why do I know these things???), although with a bit of incentive. A group of guys sit around a piece of bread and TCB. Each guy jizzes onto the piece of bread upon achieving ecstasy. The last guy to shoot his load must eat the bread. Apparently, there are conflicting issues of being embarrassed/not turned on enough to jizz quickly when surrounded by your pals and really wanting to jizz quickly because snowballing is really not your thing, and you don't really want to "know" your friends in that way.
Each day brings another reason why I need to hang out with a different crowd.

Guarini to be thrown in the slammer?
Funny, but this brings up another reason why I hate the FOXification of the news and why I think that Rupert Murdoch is the antichrist.
On the local FOX station last night, they were showing a bumper for the 10 PM news. The announcer in an ominous tone over footage of "From Justin to Kelly" intoned:
"Justin Guarini -- in trouble with the law.
Will he wind up serving time for an incident --
INVOLVING A CHILD?"
The implication was such that he had some inappropriate interaction with a "young fan", nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
I wasn't about to get suckered in to watching, so thanks for the link.
Fucking tabloid "journalists".

I noticed something similar on NBC the other day. The show was talking about how the Supreme Court handed down a ruling that was going to let the priests who molested children get away with it. The way they reported it was suggesting that the ruling was the Lawrence (sodomy) case. But it was in a fact a case over ruling a statute that had altered the statute of limitation to allow the prosecution of these cases.
It was a pretty clear effort to do a switch and bait, and they never once mentioned what the actual decision was, leaving the implication that the Lawrence decision is allowing priests to molest children.

Yes, because we produce a singer that makes zillions off gullible Americans, we deserve to be bombed. Shut the fuck up, you stupid crass whiny toad.
Bryan Adams is from Vancouver. Celine Dion is from Quebec. If you knew anything about Canada, you would realize that it would be ridiculous for her to promote a Vancouver bid.
Now I hate them both. But this little tirade is brought to you because I am a card carrying member of the Society of Defensive Canadians and if you threaten violence against my dear country and all its citizens, you must be funny about it. You, my dear, are not funny.
