Fascinating.

So, I started to watch a clip of Ann Coulter when she talks about how Jews need to be perfected by making them into Christians. I have to admit that I have never actually heard her speak before, but she comes off as incredibly moronic. I could not even get through the clip. I maybe should post this on the Politics Board, but I don't go there. Ever. And anyway, I am looking for more of a cultural reaction. So, do people actually think she is smart and have interesting things to say or is she just kind of blond and outrageous and always good for crazy sound bite?

I have learned a thing or two about Enrique Iglesias from these very boards (thanks, dtb!) and that, my friend, is no Enrique Iglesias.

It's odd that she seems to have beer goggle issues when she has stopped drinking.

It's like the WKRP episode where Johnny Fever's reaction times got better as he drank more.

Oh, I know. He looks like a JV squad Enrique at a tiny school in Nebraska. But still, there is something that made me think, "He looks a little bit like Enrique Iglesias."

I suppose he also looks a little bit like Osama Bin Laden.

I am pleased to see that at least one person took me up on my suggestion regarding discussion topics.

For example, if you are criticising someone who is not intelligent, and you say this person has a two-digit IQ when this is not really true, you are engaging in hyperbole. An example of something that I think is not hyperbole would be saying something like: "You should be banned. That is a fact." I don't think you actually engaging in exaggeration in that instance.
Whatever. You've grown tiresome.

Don't blame me. I was at the Dead show, living in the 60's back then.

I would like to think it was merely the latter, but given her book sales, I fear it is the former.

That would mean Mel Brooks has reached the pinnacle of self-actualization.

Blazing Saddles was good, but not that good...

Have I mentioned to you all how dreamy I find Jim Sturgess to be?*

*This is a rhetorical question, because I know that I have indeed mentioned this before on this site. Perhaps when Flower has a moment he will explain the concept of rhetorical questions.

Probably. I think it's somewhat scripted now, like the singing of Sweet Caroline and that annoying "Wave" that emerges in the 8th inning.

I hate that chant. And the Wave.

I appreciate you posting a picture, as I had no clue who he was when you mentioned him before, and I have been too lazy to google.* I still don't know who he is, but he's cute.

*It is odd that I say google when I actually use yahoo! almost all the time because I'm on there because that's my main non-work email account. So if anyone cares at all, 95% of the time when I say I google something I am being inaccurate. In fact, I may also have looked it up on wikipedia or imdb. Anything is possible. To me, google means "look up on the internet someplace that is not a superofficial website like the DOL or IRS"
