Although at least some (I suppose really they're Basque) seem to feel the same way about Lance.

NCAA

Anyone care to explain how the big football colleges can go on no end about how a playoff system would be bad for students because of the length of the season, yet support with a straight face having 12 regular season games every year?

ESPN: Big 12 set to request 12 games every year

I have a hard time picturing myself watching Larry King Live unless it's as a part of some kind of court-ordered alternative sentencing. You didn't any local-access programming to watch?

Ha! Basque bums. The crude gesture: a last pathetic salvo employed by those unable to cut the mustard -- how very effective.

I was referring to the French tour organizers, not the guy patting Lance on the back -- I have no idea whether he is French (but he probably was).

I didn't watch it myself. A friend of mine was remarking about it, and I was hoping someone could chime in with some juicy tidbits.

You wouldn't have that image in your head if you'd stop stalking me. It's not my fault you thought it was me in the shower.

Apparently, you've never seen Loose Cannon

Your wife is flabby, pale, and covered in fur too? How did he ever figure out it was her instead of you?

That's how it works in high school training camps, at least.

(hi, Taxwonk!)
I don't know why you're giving me the shout-out. I played soccer. After our cames, both teams got blown by hot soccer groupies like Anne and Gwinky.

ETA that I have no real knowledge whether Gwinky is a soccer groupie or not. She's just the FBetty I'd most like to picture myself getting blown by today. (Hi Gwinky!!)
