Or pickle hammock in this case.

Is it me, or does it look like his "tan" has rubbed off on his number? That really just looks like he's rubbed shoe polish all over his body. And is that a moustache?

#1: The Killer. John Woo's masterpiece. Love, friendship, loyalty, betrayal, bullets. Chow Yun Fat kicks ass. Danny Lee and Sally Yeh play their parts to perfection (how sad that I didn't even have to look up their names). One of the uber-bad guys looks just like the guy who killed Pacino in Scarface. An ending not to be believed. And a little-known fact; the dubbed version is better than the subtitled one.
IMHO "Hard-Boiled" and "A Better Tomorrow" are better, but this is like comparing the Godfather with Godfather II. Win-win-win.

I believe it's just a shadow. I can't imagine that someone that monstrously buff would want to call up spindly, pasty images of John Waters.

For the first 3 hours that this was up, I didn't notice the resemblance because I wasn't looking at her face.

GRRRRRRRRRR

However, the problem is, the GF digs her even more than I do. If this is, indeed, a problem.

I need you to tell them to tell the Commission to instruct all 13- to 24-year-old girls to stop plucking their fucking eyebrows. I was served my double tall cap this morning by two women with completely drawn-in eyebrows. They looked like goth clowns or something. This has got to stop. It's like women are now looking at their already-too-thin eyebrows the way an anorexic looks at dangling earlobes --- a fucked-up message that says "keep going, you're on the right track, almost done, just a little left to go."

That is all.
Even worse than that, I have a client who has eyebrows, but draws over (under?) them in BLACK pencil to make them have a certain shape. She has kept her natural hair color (silver-grey), but draws on these brows and sometimes they are not straight. Very hard to maintain eye contact with her because I find the brows so distracting.

Who told this woman that this look was a good idea?

This might be sacrilege, but all I see is a somewhat prettier Helena Bonham-Carter (aka 'methol-face') when she was starting out.

Glen Sather needs to hire Mike Keenan five minutes ago and hand the coaching reins to him.

A veteran's coach like him can fire up and fix this team. And actually make some consistant lines.

I haven't seen "Repo Man" since high school, but in retrospect, I think it might explain what Pynchon was writing between 1973 and 1990. The dystopia, paranoia, and humor (esp. the names of characters, corporations, and consumer products) are either his, or an homage.

Keenan, Keenan ...... hmmm, why does that name sound familiar?

In other hockey news, I am still not used to the whole dark sweaters at home thing. And I have had my eye on this delightfully tacky purple and yellow Luc Robitaille LA Kings throwback sweater at the local mall's sports emporium.

That was teh sole reason to root for the Yankees in the world series--those horribly lame spring-training black jerseys the marlins were wearing.

Bushy is back? Wow, and just in time to give little Brooke Sheilds' baby her first modelling job.

1) She is a much better actress (e.g. see "Bend it Like Beckham" versus "Star Wars Episode II)

2) She has a real English accent, whereas Natalie from Long Island bought hers from the same store as Madonna

3) Corsets are magical as she has no boobs Once again, see "Beckham":

Big Balls for the Office

wtf?

WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 — At work, Pam O’Donnell types at her computer, talks on the phone and, every so often, bounces a bit on a big blue ball. O’Donnell has an office chair, but this doesn’t mean she uses it. She prefers to sit on an exercise ball. Although some posture experts are leery of the practice, she and others say sitting on the ball lets them work a little workout into their work time, and strengthen their legs, abs and back muscles.

As for group activity, O’Donnell noted that some workers in her office use exercise balls. “We haven’t had any hippity-hop races around the office at this point, but that might be a good Friday event.”
“Every so often, you do sort of roll back and forth or bounce a little,” she said. “I have a little radio on, and if there’s a good song that comes on, I might bounce a little.”

...so so many comments to this.
Still, I'm not thinking this is going to catch on at the firm.
