While your pho post is quite informative, i am afraid its value does not equal the harm that flowed from another of your posts.

Whither spartan? where for art thou Paigow?

I believe an admission and apology might help people begin to stop associating you with the great ill you have wrought. FWIW.
Paigow and I spoke at length about this post, Hank. She has informed me that what you speak is untrue. It is in fact the hatred and the lies you foment that drovve her from the boards. She now weeps daily for her lost innocence; she knows she will never return to those happy, innocent days of burberry thongs and veggie burritos. Never again will she tri happily through the boards, speaking the gospel of Lebowski. All because of your love affair with the bottle and the discord that you have sown.

Shame, Hank, shame.

Penske has simply found a new girlfriend. He'll be back when she finds out he isn't really 32 and single.

Please give me the name and address of said haircutter. I don't care what city it's in or whether they only give baldies. Please PM or email to pony_trekker@yahoo.com

Pho 79 is one of maybe a 4-6 places on this stretch of Nicollet that serve Pho. In my opinion, it is one of the better ones. Also, try Quangs. Pho is, indeed, the most healing food.

Movie/TV Recap -- WTF?

So, now that Cold Mountain is on pay-per-view, I saw it this weeknd. What a f'ing depressing movie. I did love the scenes with Nicole Kidman and Jude Law though. That Jude Law is a mighty fine actor. That I could find his Inman so attractive, and that character he played in Road to Perdition so thoroughly vile (now that I think of it -- he was quite good in the otherwise stupid "The Talented Mr. Ripley" too -- as was Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but when is he not?) says a lot.

Now, in TV news, on Six Feet Under, would someone please (by pm if necessary) explain the Lisa plotline? I am confu-zed.

spoiler

Best season finale that I can remember. The Lisa resolution was so completely from left field, and Nate actually took charge of something and solved a problem. the only thing is this is the first season finale where Nate wasn't completely fucked, so I'm thinking outside chance that lizard baby ain't his- I'm betting obsession over having a DNA test early next season.

Does Claire know about the full extent of Billy's illness and cutting Brenda? If not, Brenda has to tell her.

And George is just the best character. Ruth has had some bad luck with guys in the past, but geez. She should have stuck with the florist.

Of course, if you turn the damned football over four times, you're going to lose the game. I swear, Houston teams for the sole purpose of pissing me off.

In related news, I'm overjoyed that football season has started up again.

I picked Houston in my suicide pool. Not really very happy with their performance yesterday either. And I blame you, RT.

okay, not really.

I'd go with the ending for season 2 of Crank Yankers, but whatever.

I keep trying to get out, and be thoughtful, engaging and frankly nice, but THEY KEEP DRAGGING ME BACK IN!

Ah, during the first season, I learned that it's not a good idea to pick the Houston game for the suicide pool. Houston knocked out half the people in the pool by winning against teams they had no right to beat and losing games that were practically handed to them. I suspect they do this to further irritate me. So I guess it is all my fault.

What's worse? Losing to the Chargers or losing to the Lions, who hadn't won a road game since 'Nam before yesterday...

There's nothing worse than having TO on your fantasy squad. I know I HAVE to root for him, and I like the results, but he's such a fucking asshole that I want him to get popped after every TD.

That blocked kick returned for a touchdown was pretty though...

This post was not funny either, but I think it is probably a good idea that you have stopped apologizing to me after every unfunny post.

Well, by now, it's implicit.
