It's flooding down in Texas...

... but unfortunately the telephone lines are doing fine, and it's a wet business as usual.

Me too.

What's the point of having a hurricane in the area if we can't get out of work?

I am surprised they are making you stay at work since an inch of water on the road shuts down the city. Is it bad down there yet?

Also, where I come from pastors and overseers are married. I assume you are Roman Catholic.
Jewish, actually.

I have to say I have always had trouble understanding how Roman Catholic Priests do fully understand ordinary people given that they haven't been through all that, and if any of you care to explain it to me feel free to private message, as I don't think the swingers et al really want to be part of that discussion, right, Jesus_Just_Left_Chicago?
I do not want to be a part of this conversation either. But perhaps you can enlighten me as to whether dancing is allowed in your hometown?

But forgive my sins on the board, I'm just trying to be helfpul (and a little funny too when I can).
I am sure Dealtoy is grateful for your advice and that seeing the Pastor is the solution to the years long dilemma he has been facing. As for funniness, that needs some work. But socks are sometimes a work in progress. Penske.

It's all about the shoes.

"Headmistress Colleen McCabe splashed out on Gucci jewelry, expensive meals, theater trips, vacations, and a 7,000-pound (US$11,000) shoe collection. But the 500,000 pounds (US$800,000) the former nun frittered away over five years was milked from school funds, leaving St. John Rigby College in south London short of cleaners and sporting a library full of empty shelves."

That sucks. I don't even have a good hurricane excuse for my bitching and moaning today.

What the f**k is with the stereotyping on this one?

So, did everybody in your neighborhood grow up to be a tight-assed kike or were they born that way???

Jesus loves her anyway. And I love anyone who can blow $11,000 on shoes. Like schoolkids really want to read books anyway?

Tight ass kike? This one may just be worse than the time Prima called someone a "fag".

See you under your new moniker.

Which reminds me- what happened to Coup d Chef, I mean Skek? Did his misogyny get him alienated to the point of just lurking?

the only people who should be working when there is a hurricane in the area are those weather channel reporters and the camera crews. speaking of which, being a reporter for the weather channel might even be a cooler job than being a tornado chaser. although i guess you would have the downside of having to go to buffalo in the winter to cover some blizzard. i really should have taken more meterology classes in college.

Yes. Doubtful that he would go from a burberry wearing bisexual to a mormon in the span of 24 hours. Seems way to assjackish, even for that piker.

The fact of the matter is that JJLC was posting a blatently patronizing statement about somebody by criticizing the person's religious and personal beliefs.

Given that JJLC seems to feel uncomfortable with the notion that an attorney could be anything but non-christian, he feels free to blast away with stereo-types and misconception.

Well, come one, come all.
