Ohhh, this is going to be SWEET! It's like "free shots" in the schoolyard. There's no defense.
And you can't respond, because if you do your "ignore list" becomes meaningless and everyone will know it.

Jokes about individuals for things they actually did or said are clearly distinguishable, without commenting on their appropriateness.

Mercifully, Bilmore did not produce shit for an argument so I won't have to shovel it. Can we kill this now? This conversation is so yesterday.
Thanks for the mercifully short post, btw and fwiw and ymmv.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A U.S. judge has refused to order New York City to provide vegan meals to prison inmates who say their Jewish beliefs forbid the unnecessary infliction of pain on animals, according to court papers released on Tuesday....

new Craig's List feature
In the unlikely event that you feel like you have not been exposed to enough ranting here in the past few days, Craig's List just created a new feature called Rants and Raves. It probably should just be called Rants. I spotted the word recockulous over there so maybe cross-fertilization is already in process.

Yesterday was a very hip day. Hip is trendy, which is as in as rain on your wedding day. Embrace it.
This thread, however, is dead. COntinue shoveling.

Beggars Don't Sock
Last night some guy chased after me for two blocks asking for my spare change. I ignored him, as I usually ignore people begging for money, but he kept tagging along, saying the usual things beggars say. Then he said, "Come on man. Look at me. I ain't got no socks!"
He had a good laugh with me when I stopped, turned around, pointed to my feet and said, "Well, crap, neither do I!"
Like he would buy socks with the 79 cents I may have had in my wallet. Right.

Online BAC Calculator
Here is an online blood alcohol content calculator you should bookmark.
According to the calculator, I was legally drunk in ALL states on Saturday night.
Sweet.

I disagree with your characterization of whether his comments suggested that, at the very least, the two comments were comparable. I agree that he didn't suggest that either was appropriate. He did then say something, and I would assume that if he were commenting negatively on other people's appropriateness, he wouldn't be making a comment he considered inappropriate on the very same day.
I was really initially just yanking his chain and trying to get him to see something from another person's perspective, which he said he was good at and Thurgreed isn't.

And the Bowlingual will be available in the US in August. Pre-order yours here.
(I wonder if it works during doggie dreams.)

Meta is so 1996, at least it is for me, as that's when I worked for a company with "Meta" in the title. Can't we try to be a little post-modern around here?

I'm sorry, but if you actually remember the amount of alcohol in fluid ounces that you consumed, and the time it took you to consume them, then you were not nearly drunk enough.

YET
EVEN
MORE
SPOILER
SPACE
Good points, and I think you're right. The "Fab 5" are a little over the top at times, but each seem to be genuinely likeable people (one's from Chicago I think). Liking someone for who they are rather than focusing on who they're in bed with is the way to acceptance.
They certainly won over Butch, who turned out to be a nice, sensitive artist trapped in the body of an axe murderer... The guy's place was horrible (one called it a "crack den") and they really made him and his place presentable. And like I said, I picked up a couple of grooming/fashion tips and product suggestions I intend to try out.
Aside from the show itself, what I was particularly struck by, and not in a bad way, was the commercials. Bravo is definitely targeting gay viewers, between this show and the upcoming "Boy meets Boy". Looks like they're putting more fun in their schedule rather than being known as the arts and high culture channel... Also, did you see the Orbitz ad for Orbitz.com/gaytravel with the pseudo-"Thunderbirds" puppets?? Pretty daring even for these times, but certainly not unwelcome.
