I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think they sing for me.

If not, it's not a real earthquake.
I slept through the Northridge quake. It wasn't real?

I had just moved to Atlanta from LA. A friend who owned a condo in Northridge called me and said "Hey, standing here, looking into my basement." I said, "I didn't know you had a basement". He said, "I didn't, until this morning."

If you build a tree in the woods with the Pope, will RT come?

eta: 5.3 is a real earthquake. Especially in an LA highrise. Did you sway side to side or roll?
Side to side, I guess. I must have angered the purse gods with my earlier post. I will run out and buy a Coach bag as soon as I get off work in order to make amends. Well, that and because I'm a shareholder, so I think of it as my way to help maintain profits.

For some reason, every time I go to the board through the homepage today, it opens up to this post.

And every time, I laugh.

Woman kills her dogs to move in with fiance

I'm happily doomed to spinsterhood if that's what it takes to get out.

It was 71 miles east of downtown LA. Wasn't there a bigger one off the coast of Northern CA recently?

It was the first one I have noticed. I'm quite excited. It seemed like a rolling one, but our building is not very tall, and there was no swaying. I was also disappointed that it didn't look different outside .

I've always found it fascinating that St. Augustine grows in both Africa and the Americas, pre-dating in each place any known trade. Yet it doesn't grow in Europe. Seems to indicate pre-historic interaction of some sort.

Of course, it could just be from Pelagic birds. Except that you need to sod it.
I catch your contintental drift.

I don't even have words. Just today I got all upset at lunch talking about the mother of the kid mauled by the pit bull, and the fact that people who don't neuter their pets because they want to breed their own puppies are selfish and irresponsible, and how people suck in so many ways, and now this.

I'm probably going to have to go out there later this summer... so this shit can stop right now as far as I'm concerned.

Apropos of nothing, I find the chick in that commercial kinda hot. I was disappointed when they stopped showing that one and started showing the "will you marry me? again?" ones with mom and dad in the crowd.
