Now, my opinion may not be worth much BUT I cannot remember you ever complaining about work. Lindsey Lohan, airport bag checkers and sports teams- check, but never work.

On the other hand ncs does complain but in a passive voice. Like she goes on an interview lunch to a steak house- but she goes. Or last week working long hours- but going in. somehow the lack of imaginary revenge makes it not award winning complaining. Like if I had to complain about working all night i might say "Maybe I'll figure out where the circuit breaker box is and blow the fucking power here so I can go home and still not get fired". w/o that it is too accepting to be rewarded.

My vote for most disgruntled is Ironweed. there is a hopeless quality and acceptance, but still a spark of fighting. We know he'll die at his desk someday, but then the man will find a fifth of vodka and porno in his locked left hand drawer.

Are we sure Shannon's are fake? I looked at the list and I don't even know who some of those people are, but I am pretty sure that Gisele's are real, and probably Adriana Lima's and for sure Salma Hayek's.

I'm going to a small town parade tomorrow morning bright and early. Town's population is only 287 or so, but it's got a great town square and fun floats and a trail ride and old ladies selling pickles and stuff like that. Afterwards, there's a barbeque at the local rifle hall with music and a biergarten and something called a Battle Dance. I suspect an accordian is involved.

So I'll eat, drink and be merry. And maybe set off some fireworks later on tomorrow night if it doesn't look like I'll burn anything down.

And the next day, I'll be back here, at work, wondering why the hell I didn't take the rest of the week off.

What're ya'll doing?

Heading here, and staying through the weekend. Likely a work-related call or three to deal with, but beats the office. Wife and kids are already there.
