YAMAGUCHI -- A man suspected of stealing about 4,000 items of women's underwear over as many as 30 years has been arrested, police said.

Nice. Gives a guy something to shoot for. Its my understanding from my Tokyo crew that these underwear fetishes are quite common in Japan.
The sex shops in Tokyo will sell you aromatically used panties, and barely legal Japanese schoolgirls hawk their soiled undies at flea markets.
I believe I may be turning Japanese.

These are strippers we are talking about. Most of them turn tricks and/or date Slave on the side. Who cares if you are rude to them.

My ex-b/f kept his face in my crotch as much as possible. Although you would think this wouldn't be the case, it got incredibly annoying. He wasn't japanese, though.

The time you should feel compelled to stay is related to how much the strip club chose to overcharge you for the beer.

well sure, but what the fuck does that mean given Pennslyvania's inflated alcohol prices? How do you know if you're being overcharged? And given the shakes I had from visiting my inlaws, the need, the absolute need for alcohol at that point- was it overcharging?
When you have the choice to live in many states, why would a drinker choose a state where it tough to get alcohol? Sebastian?

The Gloria Estefan night was a bigger disaster than the Elton John night. Perhaps only Gloria can sing her own songs well. In any case, there were no standout performances and some fairly weak ones.
Fantasia gave a great performance if you didn't factor in her singing. I don't know if it wasn't in a good key for her or if the effort of singing and dancing that fast made her voice weird or what, but it wasn't her best. Also, she needed a bra. I thought one of her breasts was going to smack her in the face. Simon said she sounded like Donald Duck on helium. That was a bit harsh but her voice did have an unpleasant edge to it on this song. Also, the repeated "salutes" to Jennifer Hudson were, as we say in Minnesota, "interesting." I couldn't decide if it was "Hey everyone, you let Jennifer get voted off, don't let me join her" or a way of showing that the wrong diva was voted out. But the sum of her performances should keep her in the competition.
George was better than last week but did not give a strong performance. He doesn't usually sing fast songs so he should have looked for a slower moving song. I suspect many of the singers were concentrating so hard on getting all the words out in the right rhythm that they weren't focussing on how they sounded.
LaToya made a smarter song choice. There were slower places in her song to catch up. She also put more zip into her performance. It was still not her strongest performance but it didn't suck.
John made a very smart song choice. If he had tried a fast song, he'd have embarrassed himself. Even so, he had major pitch problems and it was painful. He really should be the one to go, but Simon acknowledged that he is popular and is sticking around. He's becoming the Josh Gracin of this year's competition.
Jasmine also made a smart song choice, going for a power-ballad song. But it was so-so. Given that it was the kind of song right in her comfort zone, she should have been the best one, but didn't do great. One of the judges gave her a 7/10, which I thought was pretty generous. I don't know if any of the performances tonight were as high as 7s.
Diana had one of the best performances, along with LaToya, but considering that no one gave a great one, that isn't saying much. And she wore the ugliest dress; it made her look like a sausage.
Who knows who will go tomorrow. Based on all performances to date, it should be John or, if his fans jam the lines for him, Jasmine. But with one of the 3 best singers being voted off last week, you never know.

Yez. The premium you paid for the beer and hopefully her wages should account for the "extra" you received waiting for the beer. Presumably the naked, dancing breasts draw people to pick up beer there, as opposed to a clothed, undancing breasticle joint.
A couple of dollars would have been plenty. How long does it take to get a 12 pack ready?

I would gladly pay a little extra for this service at the Mobil station across the street.
Summer after 1L, I clerked in Charleston, WV (hey, it paid). One night after events at our respective firms, I met up downtown with one of my friends from law school. After a little hemming and hawing (when in Rome) about what to do, we ended up in a little stripjoint. It was a seedy little place - we felt a little conspicuous in our cute little 1L business suits and because the only other people in the place were the bartender and the dancer.
It was a cash only place and we had about $15 between us. We bought a couple of beers, served to us in unopened cans, and contributed enough money to the "juke box" to pay for three onstage dances. The dancer was cute enough except for her stereotypically West Virginian teeth and was quite enthusiastic. The few remaining dollars were quickly disbursed as tips.
At the end of the second song, I sheepishly informed the dancer that we didn't have any more money for tips and that she really didn't have to dance any more. "That's allright. Y'all paid for 3 dances and y'all are going to get 3 dances."
And we did. She continued dancing through the third song all the way to such full frontal hilllbilly glory that really revved the motor of the old General Lee. I was astonished. You just don't see that kind of professionalism in the service industries any more.

Look, I can tell from this picture that things between you and Ratios are still going well. But I will be disappointed if you do not take advantage of this window of opportunity with Halle. Do you know how much work this took? You could at least thank me.

I agree. Say what you will about Arkansas or Oklahoma, but West Virginia is certainly the citadel of compliant white trash girlies.

Yep, we now know who broke the database. It was Ty. Thus, when the repair query ran, it deleted his ass right outta there.
(only kidding)
If anyone else has the same problem, please try to recreate your account. Since the username no longer exists in the database, you should be able to register the old name.
Tsk, tsk, Ty.
