Celebrity Death Pool
You can have Coco, who , like a cockroach, will never die but will do anything for publicity, but not the other two.
I will take these:
She dies of the Karen Carpenter disease
and he dies if he doesnt make changes fast (and I hope he does) a la John Candy

Five golden rings
I guess I don't care. Ignore things that irritate you, ABBA. Just ignore.

Yom Kippur
Ignorant questions that need answers:
when did it start?
when does it end?
are people allowed to talk on the phone or go out during it?

Should I anticipate some Bilmoreism from lookignformarket about questions during the yom kippur events?

Ullrich Back to Telekom
Next year's quest for six just got much harder. Jan Ullrich rejoined Telekom, so he'll be riding on arguably the strongest team in the world.

For all I know, you might be TM's curmudgeonly, plaid suiting and manpanties wearing Minnesota sock. but given lfm's sniper approach to the bilmoreism, i gotta go wih my hunch.,
which reminds me. I had a dream about you(!), First off, you did not look like Benny Hill but one of those Irish actors with white hair and REALLY thick pork chops. I know I have seen this actor but cant figure out who it is. Anyway, I went to your hourse, which had a glass roof, and was designed sort of like an amphitheater, but the only thing in the sprawling downstairs was a jacuzzi. Which I got into while your wife was talkign with (some other FBer and you were occupied). I remember it was September bc it started snowing, which I watched through the glass ceiling from the jacuzzi. I could also see the lake from the glass windows. I remember thinking it was pretty cool that you could get this setup for so cheap, and that if you never went outside, you could actually live in Minnesota.
wtf does this mean, gwink?

He does seem to be advertising everything in the world now. Not afraid to pull a Jordan/Crawford** I see.
** I have been stumped as to who between Michael Jordan and Cindy Crawford was more of a sell out during his/her advertising heyday. Mike gets some points for the fact that some of the products he was schilling were actually owned by him, but the lameness of some of the products (Ray-o-vac batteries?!) cut the other way. Cindy might have been selling fewer products but the fact that she sold out to Kay Jewelers when we all know she wouldn't wear one of those .001 carat diamond necklaces for fear of staining her neck hurts her overall score.

Speaking of ads, I love that new phone ad where the girl is in the diner watching the guy eat the sandwich. He's making a total mess and she takes a picture of him and forwards it to her friend with the audio message, "Here's a picture of your new boyfriend. Don't you just love your new boyfriend?" And they cut to the girl receiving the image and message and she turns to the phone guy and says, "I do. I do love him." She says it in such a sincere voice with the perfect expression.
Whoever thought that up is brilliant.
