I really dig that this onlooker used 'bows as street for "elbows." In writing it comes off sounding more like it's short for rainbows or hair bows or something.

I suppose its possible, depending on what type of high school you went to.

If I had a newsletter, I'd have more than one point in 4 1/2 months. These "youngsters" are dropping off in their 70s and 80s and good old Brooke Astor and Fay Wray keep on ticking. And because I picked 50 as my wild card, he's probably going to get religion and live to a ripe old age.

She would have been a good pick. Fairly obscure though.

How sad is it that I had no clue who she was until you said she was Lila Quartermaine?

How sad is it that I would have guessed she was already dead?

I think a Match Game DP would be great. Only Celebs who were on the show can be picked, and you only get say 2. Tons of people were on it. Brett Summers is still kicking; Gene Rayburn RIP.

DP'ing Brett Summers would be great? Sicko. Or maybe you were talking about Charles Nelson Reilly. In which case, sicko, nttawwt.

Richard Dawson and Betty White are still available also. I'm not sure if either is willing to be DP'ed.

I'm less shocked by that than I am the fact that Jack Klugman has outlasted him.

He would have been a good pick. By my count, no one had him. I checked paigow's list twice. just in case.

I think that was actually Jack's (now) ex-wife, the not-so-lovely Brett Somers Klugman. I occasionally run across Match Game on the Game Show Network, and she's almost always a guest, along with such 70's entertainment luminaries as Charles Nelson Reilly and Jo Ann Worley. Come to think of it, you could put together a pretty good Death Pool list from a typical early 70's Match Game panel.
