Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
http://thesource.com/2016/01/26/man-...while-driving/ Fucking Obama better not go making executive orders to limit access to porn. Atticus warned us, but we wouldn't listen.

He told us if we support anti-terrorism stark acts, the porn will be next. If Obama only executive orders to not jack off while driving, well we got off easy. I'm afraid there will be a waiting period to get on youporn.

Won't the waiting period allow time to build a little excitement? Maybe get in a little cyber foreplay? Kids today want to get right to the money shot. No patience.

I suppose you may be right in theory, but the actual result is their moms Victoria's Secret catalog will have pages stuck together.

I don't think Ollie ever made it there, though IIRC he and Robert McFarlane went to Iran with gifts -- a Bible signed by President Reagan and a cake.
But I guess Eugene Hasenfus would be a real memory test for us (I confess to having Googled to find his last name - I knew it was something German sounding with an H, but drew a blank beyond that).
And, uh, sorry ncs. I know people who've gone to Costa Rica, but not to Nicaragua.

My sister eloped there two years ago. They went here: http://www.jicarolodge.com/ which is on a small island on Lake Nicaragua near Granada. They loved it. I think their main not-getting-married activities included ziplining and wandering around Granada.

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
So I know a young woman considering Court reporting school in the city. Need to give advice.
First, I can't believe we still use them; is there a future or will they likely be phased out? I guess they are the first line of decision as to what exact words were said in the event of a dispute? Don't want em phased out in 5 years after studying for two.
Is there a "best" school in NYC? Some of you must have contacts with a NYC reporter?
Is the market so saturated as to make taking the classes pointless?

That looks lovely! Way out of my budget, but lovely. One of the big reasons we chose Nicaragua is because it's so cheap, but clearly there are some non-budget travellers going there these days too...

Re: No Faith in the Moral Standards of the Players as a Group
Thanks, all, for the NY recommendations. Much appreciated. And BTW, I am really annoyed that I can't post here from work anymore.
Here's a different mystery.
A younger Slothrop rode his bike to school today and locked it up with a Kryptonite lock, in a secured (fenced) cage at the school where bikes live during the day. In Spanish class, he had the key to the lock. Then was lunch. After lunch, he realized he did not have the key. He went back to where he had been eating to look for the key, but did not find it. He also went to the Spanish class, but no one had said anything to the teacher. Sans key, he does not get the back, but walks home. Later, I bring him to the school. The bike and lock are gone. So what happened?
It's possible that he both lost the key and someone broke the lock and stole the bank and that the two are unrelated, but it's really unlikely, right? It seems much likelier that someone found the key and then unlocked the bike, no? Was it someone he was eating lunch with, who knew which bike was his? Did someone find the key and then try it on every Kryptonite lock in the cage?
As V.I. Lenin asked, what is to be done?
