I dunno. I don't pay attention anymore. But give her a big whiff for me.*
*And thank her for playing. Maybe throw in a "BUZZ" noise before thanking her and be sure to tell her what her lovely parting gifts are...

Au contraire. Old Skooler is accepted internet chat board jargon:

Since LT board started in 2003, which board qualifies as Old Skooler? If GA, then put me down for somewhere in 1999/2000.
OTOH - I've never been hip and likely to remain so. Thus unqualified to evaluate hipness of boardisms.

I think we need John123 to join us here.

I posted a few times on the [December RotAF] thread, and sadly found myself frustrated with the folks there. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but compared to what I remember from over a year ago, the proportion of folks who were irritating (i.e., "trolls" to use our lingo) was way too high. I got frustrated and stopped posting...especially because I realized that all my posts were taking me way off topic replying to the trolls!

You don't get it? This is the paigowrody of the SD form rant. Mention forms or fatties, you get a printout from the form files of Gruvy, Katz & Chix, LLC. Mention whiff, timmy, or any other sellbytini and you get this. Very meta.

Serious answer: He is less relevant that Penske and Pretty Flower Boy put together, to the extent that they are not one and the same already <hint hint>.

I'd just like to remind you (see sig line) that I have a pending patent application on a similar process. Just a friendly reminder, I'm sure we can work out a suitable license/royalty schedule.

I don't know what the confusion is. Its all laid out here:
http://vn.vinagames.com/?F=paigow
Quote:
Paigow Instruction

Well I'll be darned....
When fellow Old Skooler Arnie_Becker, who is now known as someone else here [name protected for outing purposes] IM'd me me many months ago (and I was insanely busy piling on the hours to impress Bob Gunderson in the hopes of resurrecting a boom year bonus......hark of boom year bonii I sing..... and thus I have had very little time to post), I had no idea what was going on here and at Infirmation.com and the comings and goings and wanderings of the GAs to prompt him to IM me to come back to the fold.
To be honest, I posted a few times on one of bikini waxing threads, and sadly found myself frustrated with the folks here as everyone thought I was a sock for chris. Remember that dude? He was no shasta mcnasty (hi paigs! or should I say Jenna J?). I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but compared to what I remember from many years ago, the proportion of folks who were irritating (i.e., "skeks" to use our lingo) was way too high. I got frustrated, just like back in the day when Renada and Sick Boy ruined the joint, and stopped posting...especially because I realized that all my posts were taking me way off topic replying to the babbbaoouey socks!
So then I just came here today checking out what was new, etc...and I find this forum -- a hangout for those of us who were around long ago. Old Skool!!! Too cool!
Great idea, Slave (R u Eighthyearslave now, ninth? Infinitytrackslave......oops apologies to 8track). Now if we could just boost the membership in here back up. Maybe a song by Argus? A K-race by Penske? A Plated-PostAss-LessinMengele debate? I'd enjoy that a lot. Truthfully, I find myself re-reading the old NWN site a lot, but the discussions are far less spirited there.
Let's rev this place up!

Does anyone else feel like the FB is turning into "M", Moe's new bar in Homer the Moe?

Concur. The foul truth is that people here often do not realize that something has hit its sell by date (even though they should have bc even though they are toolish lawyers, Chandler Bing coined the term in 1994). For example, Aloha actually dismissed someone by sayin "thanks for playing". At that point, I started using it to the point of annoyance and repulsion. This is a term that Chandler Bing used in the mid nineties and ALoha just shojld have known better. ALoha is also not the only offender on the use of this term, but he hit my "thianks for playing" saturation button. So I started exploiting this term and I am mostly positibve that I am totally correct that Aloha remains the last nonironic user of this term. If you do not follow this concept, think of how you groan internally when some loser co-worker utterse the word "NOT!" to you at the office. Like "these sandwiches that have been sitting in the conference room since 1pm are delicious! NOT!". See? So it is not I who delcares something dead as young Skippy Coltrane suggests. Rather it is I who does the public service of reminding you that this term is dead. Or stale. Or whatever.
Further, sometimes a word never had a sell by date. Becuase it was never fresh in the first place. Take for example the word "classy". Not to lord old school knowledge over the newbies, but back in the Middle Ages (Infirm). someone named Red Lady (I think it was her but it was someone with about her level of board recognition) said something was classy. Unironically. I did her the public service of coming down on her for using that word. Serious public service- not making a small profit on a ticket to see some Euro Muzak crap live but actually sa=ving her the emabarrassment of saying "classy" in real life, uninronically. Like how Omarosa said taht Heidi wasnt classy. People came down on me for being a snob but I dont think the word "classy" has been uttered unironically on the board since. Futher, I am willing to bet some of you who used to use this word unironically have desisted from doing so. Substituting terms like "wealthy looking" (hi Abba!) in its place. Which is just as classy by the way.
So, you are all welcome
